I used to live in the south, in the outskirts of a comfy little city of about 120k people.

Then at 18 i had to move to santiago to study, and as said, there's too much people here. It doesn't affect me at all though, because I only shop online and my parents pay for everything so I only leave my department to go to the uni, gym or some party.

So basically, santiago is good if you can avoid the citizens of santiago.

Many people are still against it, but the biggest thing about it is that cemeteries charge the same for your spot whether you are cremated or not so, yeah you can see the point. Of course if your family doesn't pay for 20 or so years afterwards you're going out because they need to clear those spots. Church complains about cremation though.
