In my opinion MJ should have died in early 1989. We would have lost a lot of great music made afterwards but everything was subpar anyway after Quincy Jones left and that was really his peak. The media already started to attack him around the release of the Bad album in 1987 because of his vitiligo and it got progressively worse. He had his first rhinoplasty (nose job) after breaking his nose during a complex dance routine in 1979 but I do not believe he did anything else to himself until the late 90s. He got older and his skin turned white but that's it. In 1984 during the recording of a Pepsi commercial he burned his scalp to the bone in another accident. This, in combination with the Bad Tour where he could literally not sleep because of all the adrenaline in his body, is what started his painkiller/sleep drug abuse. Being kind of fucked in the head socially from not having a normal childhood since he was 5 years old, I think he genuinely just enjoyed the company of children. Also a big factor in this is that they were the only people that didn't "want" something from him. Throughout his career there were so many Jews pulling on him on all sides it's incredible he managed to hold out as long as he did. For younger people here it's probably hard to comprehend how much the media vilified him before he died. He was literally the antichrist. You have to realize he had literally of thousands of sick and poor people over to his private theme park and he kinda had it coming when in late 1993 he was charged for child abuse by a family of deadbeat failure spics that he had taken under his wing to care for.
