>Venezuelans have been crossing over the border into Brazil in search of food and medical care as Brazilian hospitals struggle to keep up with the influx of new patients. Thousands of Venezuelans have flooded Brazilian emergency rooms after Venezuela’s dire economic crisis and hyperinflation have caused a shortage in supply of needles, bandages, and medicine, the Washington Post reports.
>“Demand is growing faster than I can manage. Every month the number of patients grows exponentially. How can I plan for that?” said Marcilene Moura, the 45-year-old director of the general hospital in the Brazilian border state of Roraima. “What happens if this continues? I’m going to run out of supplies by the middle of the year.”
>Roraima, a poor and remote state that serves as Venezuela’s gateway to Brazil, is also having trouble finding facilities to house the bodies of patients who die there.
>Corpses that don’t fit in the hospital’s morgue have been sent to the police station morgue as a result. A place originally intended for the remains of victims of violent crimes, the police station’s morgue holds bodies for three months while authorities try to identify them.
>An employee of the morgue who asked not to be named said sometimes bodies are stacked two to a drawer.
>The hospital in Roraima is also overflowing with patients. To deal with the increase in demand, the hospital created patient wards out of the waiting rooms and stuck beds in the hallways.
>Brazilian hospitals have also wound up caring for the families of those hospitalized. While a few lucky family members are taken in by local families who also have patients at the hospital, most family members often sleep in chairs in the hallways while they rely on government services for meals and showers.
>Venezuelans are also selling their children and abandoning them, as well as selling their hair for $20 a head due to the economic crisis
Thomas Price
>Roraima At least they aren't going to São Paulo or the South

Immigration from Venezuela grew 3000%
>Looking for better living conditions and fleeing crisis in their country, thousands of Venezuelans are emigrating to Brazil in growing numbers.
>In Roraima alone—a Brazilian state that shares a border with Venezuela—there are about 15,000 Venezuelans, according to the Ministry of Justice.
>At least 4,000 of these economic migrants applied for asylum in Brazil last year. As a result, the number of Venezuelan refugee applications to Brazil rose by 3,000% compared to 2015.
>The migration is more prevalent in border areas. Roraima has already declared an emergency situation in healthcare because of an unexpected surge in migratory flows that has tightened pressure on public services.
Why are you even taking them in and caring for them? Why the fuck should they get any of your healthcare?

who knows, we have dumb laws and shit, and might become even worse this year.
Our constitution literally says the government must work towards political, social, cultural and economic integration with Latrine America
Daniel Ross
It's fucked up what is happening to the Venezuelans. Some user here sent food to a Venezuelan user, was a cool thing to do. Cost like $100 to mail it I think.
Carter Edwards
the bad part is that I'm not sure they'd not vote for the PSUV again. There is at least 20% of retards who are with them and will never change, but like 30% who keep going full-retard every 4 years.
Even worse is that the opposition is mostly shit too
Ryan Watson
fuck you Venezuelan shill
you and your family are going back
Liam Morris
psuv is corrupted as fuck what are you talking about, theyll rule forever even if they only win 10% of the vote
Lincoln Hernandez
only if the army keeps on their side
Once some general decides to tell them to fuck off they will fuck off sooner or later
Caleb Cook
kinda hard to do that when psuv makes sure the generals are kept rich with the oil sales. this shit is eternal without an armed rebellion
Ryder Cooper
The Venezuela crisis has been fabricated by the globalists, starting with the poisoning of Chavez, followed by increasing corruption in all levels of government and business.
The main export of oil has been dramatically reduced and the country is going / is bankrupt.
This has left an opening for increased drug trafficking. Human trafficking / organ harvesting and sales.
Also because of Venezuelas deep ties to Iran/Hezzbolah, increasing amounts of foreign fighters are using Venezuela as a launch pad into Central America and North America. There are many reports of ISIS fighters as well hailing from Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago.
Venezuela has fallen the same way as Libya, Syria, Yemen
Hudson Williams
hard to keep rich when all the country is bankrupt
What use is being rich if you need armed guards to go anywhere and everyone is too broke to sell you shit?
Anthony Cruz
>pic related >sent food I'm sure they stopped it in customs. Every time my family returns from visiting me they pay the officers to not inspect the luggage filled with months worth of food/products. This is not like Brazil, the entire army is corrupt to the core and Cuba is the puppet master, best example is the fag they sent to the winter sport competition to humiliate our country, and every week there are news of commanders/generals being sent to prison. Venezuela was like that long before the crisis, we host all the terrorist groups and they even get training, there's a nice documentary if you lurk hard enough about a spy infiltrating a terror cell. By living in the middle east for years to not blow his cover. They are still afloat because they sold the country to China and our gold reserves are kill.

I mean one day the money will end, will they all just move to switzerland and spend money on whores for 2 years than die in a ditch?
Isaac Clark
This thread makes me feel bad for eating a whole pizza by myself last night

We have unlimited oil, all their bank accounts are being blocked and they'll be stopped in the future if they leave the country for both drug trafficking and human rights, pretty much at this point if they loose power they'll go to prison so don't expect them to surrender without giving a fight. You can look up some recent news about our vice president Tareck El Aissami having his bank accounts frozen by the USA.

Hang the commies

Cont on the terrorist. There's also the illegal sales of Venezuelan diplomatic passports on the embassy of Iran, Venezuela will have some insurgency tier problems when the time comes. Let me see if I can find the actual documentary.
Asher Ross

Eli Long
>brazilian immigrant crisis >venezuela is now brazil's mexico >having to run to our shithole for public medical care lel
Guess we are even more fucked now.
Camden Cook
Another successful socialist state with such good socialist health care
Elijah Bennett
It's a huge venezuelan diaspora. They are reaching every country in the region. And yet, there are a lot of lefties praising Maduro and his " revolution "
Angel Ward
About the hospital in Roraima, that's just people taking their chances, if you need at treatment at the hospital you need to bring in your own all the medical supplements needed, it's pretty funn that people die to diseases that can be cured in the country with the biggest oil reserves in the world. This government has been there since 1999, after the 2012 to 14 protests people grew tired of this shit and left or plan to leave the country, the main factor being insecurity, most of my classmates from university left or plan to do so after graduating. I rewrote this too many times, but the simply tldr of the situation in Venezuela is that poor people are fucked, many jobs are public, you are forced to go to concentrations in favor of the government (they even check if you attended or you loose your job), the free houses they give to the poor people can be taken away if you go against the government, they want to implement a new Cuban system (id cards) after the other 20 failed, government sponsored paramilitary. And there's another 100 things that are fucked. We are fucked socially, economically, politically and don't even meet me get started in our humanitarian department. Venezuela is fucked and if we survive the storm it'll take us like 2 decades to recover. Sorry for my shitty writting, I'm off. /thread

Venezuelans are flooding south america and central america; A lot of them, brainwashed against the outside world, undermine the citizens of the countries they migrate to. And its worsening the crisis because the countries taking them want to send them back.
Jordan Lopez
Pretty much another Cuba.
Ryan Sanchez
I love Venezuela because I can bring up the time Bernie praised it whenever I'm talking to Bern victims.
Aaron James
You know it's bad when people are running to Brazil. They wouldn't even mind Mexico if it was closer. Apparently if there is no gibsmedat people don't want to travel hundreds of miles.
Luis Barnes
That's because Bolivia and Colombia are even worse off than Venezuela.
Not that anybody cares, because they aren't "socialist".
Juan Gray
>bringing up fake news Good goy.

You have to be really fucking desperate if you're fleeing to Brazil.

how awful is venezuela that going to brazil is the better option

Took me like 5 minutes. They are growing and don't starve on the streets. Actually they have a higher growth than Poland.
When Venezuela fell down to -11% at some point in 2015.
Daniel Thompson
False. Both are leagues better both when it comes to wealth and when it comes to crime, and plenty of Venezuelans are going to Colombia too, even tho some got deported. And they share no border with Bolivia (which is allied with Maduro so why even got there?)
Levi James
Do they even exist? Never seem one myself
Adam Edwards
>Roraima
They can eat shit and die for I care.
