desu I was kind of meming with the filioque because I think it is mostly semantics, as I understand RCC would accept "from the Father, through the Son" which I think would also be acceptable to the orthodox.

Either way, I pray that the schism between the two will be effectively resolved in our lifetime, but I'm not going to get my hopes up too much.

Not sure about the Roman Catholics, but our prayer book includes "heal the schisms of the churches" both in prayers for the beginning of the day and the end of the day.
