What is one of the core arguments that Peterson makes, writing and speaking are important it is how they order your thoughts. That is the big idea behind the self authoring program, its forcing you to write and therefore think about your place in life and where you want to be.
You don't need the program to get the benefit. You need the discipline to sit down, spend a good amount of time on introspection, then write it all out.

That is a good question, if it were me I would try to keep in my mind that what I write is not a final product but part of a process. Whatever you produce in the moment may be of little value by itself but it will help you produce something better in the future.

My question to you all is that whenever I wanted to retaliate, justified or not, I hold myself back because I was afraid I'd lose or not be strong enough or feared enough or respected enough.
