i think masturbation is a sin for a reason. should probably do it as infrequently as possible and definitely not watch porn. at the same time i think people react completely differently to it. some people say it doesn't affect them negatively at all but i know for myself and others the old boxing "myth" that ejaculation drains your energy is 100% true.

My worst problem is that the degree I am enrolled in for the last three years does not interest me. Or it could be that I am becoming addicted to short term pleasures over long term satisfaction as so many young men are.
I got a High Distinction in my political science course last semester solely due to the osmosis on Sup Forums making me an unqualified expert on Politics, both American and Australian. But at the same time I am actively holding my tongue during most conversations with acquaintances because mainstream university and academia has a ovalton window the size of a sultana.
Meanwhile I am doing passable grades in law, which I only am motivated to work for the few days before a due date. I get stressed so I fap, and I get stressed because I was fapping instead of working, but I have no desire to work etc.
Is there a place for the self-authoring program? I haven't much money to spare but this can't continue.

Sin = slavery. A man has as many masters as he has vices. Among other things, masturbating to porn greatly increases your proclivity to be impulsive in every domain, to make decisions based on your passions, and it alienates you from your traditional cultural values. It is extremely bad for your overall quality of life, and easy to fall prey to unless you have strong morals (tradition) keeping you on a straight path.

you're pursuing a degree that doesn't interest you because you don't have a plan or your plan went awry. self-authoring is meant to address that. it's work though, you have to do it diligently and earnestly.
