In schools here all kids call the teachers by their first name. The only time Mr/Mrs is used is for the elderly. Sweden doesnt have much of a formal language anymore sadly enough.

I think people still do this here when they're little. We said "Fröken" in elementary school but this stopped in middle school as far as I can remember. The proper way to address a male teacher then was of course "Magister", but there were very few male teachers in elementary school.
