The thought of any soda nauseates me at this point. Two years clean. Used to be a fat fuck and in the first two months of me quitting I literally dropped 30 lbs like fucking magic without doing anything else. It really is poison sugar water. The human body was not meant to process so much sugar and chemicals at once.

It's a cheap beverage that can be easily concentrated into syrup, reducing shipping costs, and is able to be served for not much more cost than water.

It's only in everything because the government keeps the cost of corn/HFCS ridiculously low and puts tariffs on imported sugar. If you sell a food product and can figure out how to replace sugar with HFCS, you can shave a few cents off the cost of production and save millions in the long run.
Basically, stop the government from sucking corn cock and we'd get less cheap soda, which would mean less consumption.

Yes obviously. Soda is actually designed so you can't taste the full extent of the sugar, which would be too much for even the fattest slobs or candy obsessed children to consume.
They push it because coca cola is swimming in money. Their marketing budget therefore is very large as there is no need to invest in updating the soda itself, nor does coca cola spend Money bottling the drink (coca cola bottling consolidated and many other bottlers handle it). So coke has all this money and spends it marketing its products.. Coca cola is essentially a marketing company that owns soda brands and formulas
