Most of the time JonTron was incredulous that Destiny was saying half the shit he was and Destiny was just digging himself in further by violently and autistically arguing his points. If anything, the only way they could make the argument that Jon lost was because he really just didn't care and Destiny did to an autistic degree. They both thought that each other's points were so absurd there wasn't any point to debating them.

There were times during that debate where I was fuming because there are literally studies that would've blown Destiny's arguments to shreds, but Jon didn't reference them at all. He's also far too passive, he let Destiny frame things, and got pushed back any time he tried to reframe or use something as a point of reference.

He's just not a good debater, and got wrecked by a shitty SCII player. In a conversation amongst friends, Jontron might've done well. He wasn't aggressive and posed a couple of really good questions for someone with their guard lowered to contemplate. He wasn't in that scenario, though, he was directly engaged with someone who is an ideological enemy with their guard raised.
