Who on Sup Forums is actually a liberal/leftist/democrat/socialist/social democrat/sjw/progressive/cuck or any of the other labels for "not right wing?"
Where do we think the hivemind is at, in terms of percentage? Like would you say 80% of Sup Forums today is some form of conservative/libertarian/rightist/alt-right/sjw-right/nationalist/etc?
Does everyone hate globalism and whatever? Do you consider yourself a tribalist like Jontron?
How much falseflagging do you do? How many of you pretend to be strawmen sjws or whatever to get a good circlejerk going?
I'm for national socialism, pure capitalism is just as Jewish as Communism.
Jayden Rogers
I am a holocaust denying vegan
Grayson Ward
I'm a nationalist through and through but pretty liberal on a few topics like: health care (should be single payer if possible, the current system is inefficient and kills people) abortion (population control is a good thing, there'd be MORE single mothers and niggers without it, plus women have the right to choose) Wealthier should pay higher taxes than the poor, but not super high like Comrade Boinie and Hillary want. Environmental regulation
Other than that I disagree with progressives on everything. The idpol/class politics stuff in particular.
Jeremiah Gonzalez
I'm a socialist who stopped going to /leftypol/ because it got too boring. I'll probably go back there once I start getting bored of Sup Forums again.
I don't strawman or false flag because I wouldn't derive any pleasure from that; I already know what the reaction is gonna be, so what's the point? I do, however, laugh at liberals whenever they do something stupid, like Maddow's ratings stunt last night, because it's easier to do that then to try having legitimate arguments about class consciousness with a bunch of race-obsessed autists.
Basically I'm just here to shitpost in the face of American decline.
Nathaniel Wood
I'm gay, furfag and always support any kind of degeneracy, but I hate religious scum and muslims are the most dangerous. So we must eliminate all muslims before we building Sodom.

I consider myself a national socialist. I'm ok with the government subsidizing certain things, just not the retarded things ours does, like useless public education and nigglet production.
Kevin Gray
>I'm a nationalist through and through Why, do you think? And to what extent? You talk about environmental regulation so you're clearly a forward thinking person, do you not see a future where nationalistic spite or lack of cooperation between sovereign nations hinders humanity's ability to thrive in increasingly more erratic global environment and economy? At what point do we stop framing the queston as "us versus them" to "us versus the future?" >Wealthier should pay higher taxes than the poor, but not super high like Comrade Boinie and Hillary want. But what they wanted was still less than corporate and high income taxes where 80 years ago when America was "Great" in the first place.
>The idpol/class politics stuff in particular. to be fair, as a person that majored in political media messaging strategy, and as a person that worked for Republicans from 2009-2011, triggering the base by constantly seeking out and propping up the most outrageous examples of the other side's identity politics is and has been an active messaging strategy from the right to "rouse the rabble." there is a a pretty skewed perception about how many people are being belligerent assholes about ID politics. We see hundreds of examples of random people being annoying, while failing to keep in mind that they're an almost entirely statistically insignificant amount of people. We cherry pick conflict-oriented weirdos from the other side to prop up as strawmen to rage against, not realizing that nobody would give a shit about them if it wasn't for the backlash. And they wouldn't do it if they didn't think it'd trigger their other side.
And the shrinking middle class and runaway wealth hoarding by the top is an unambiguous indicator of an unsustainable economic system. I don't really see the class divide as a "political issue" necessarily. It's a global economic threat.

I am a leftist, also politically active IRL.
People mostly embrace racism on Sup Forums because it's politically incorrect and I do it too despite obviously not supporting it.
Globalism is good and the future in general, but extremely flawed at the moment. In particular, immigration and complete surrender of the national economic interests.
>How much falseflagging do you do?
I prefer an honest talk actually.
David Evans
I'm procrastinating at work a bit so I'll spar with you about class consciousness.
My argument against the importance of class consciousness is that it doesn't trigger our tribal instincts as well as other things. Class is not as visible nor as concrete (at least in today's society) as other factors like race or religion, and therefore is a weaker aspect of identity. That's why I believe that Marxism is an exercise in futility unless class becomes the strongest identifying factor, which I don't see happening outside of a racially and ethnically homogeneous society.
Michael Thompson

I am. I honestly don't believe in life after death, or god, or fate, or any of that bullshit.
Life is just random and pointless, and sooner or later, we will all perish, and it will be as if we never existed.
Therefore, there is no reason to have future-oriented societies, but the ones with one purpose: letting us all do what we want. Fuck your morals and duties and faith and the rest of the bullshit your "god" enslaved us with.
Julian Davis
I'm a liberal/socialist and feminist (not the sort of SWJ extremism you get on the fringes). I believe globalism is a good thing and that we need to dissolve the artificial barriers we've built between nations. All they do is cause more problems and give more reason to hate others. I believe capitalism is a flawed system that is no longer feasible in the modern age due to technology. As automation reduces the need for a labor force and increases productivity, we're going to face a massive economic crisis that capitalism is just not equipped to solve. Capitalism and the free market works only when the working class has sway over the means of production. They really don't anymore.
I don't really visit Sup Forums often so I can't comment on the hivemind really.
I don't really do any falseflagging. I come on rare occasion, share my 2 cents, and that's about it.
Anthony Cooper

I think of myself as a sorta conservative, but conservatism does not really exist here anymore (our conservative party is not conservative), so i haven't been raised to actually truly know what those ideals are.
I rarely hide my powerlevel. I have a polish co-worker who hates t*rks, so the SJW co-worker never starts mumbling since they only engage when in greater numbers. I'm basically center left. Right now I side with the right because for one, the right is abandoning a lot of their worst elements because of Trump. But more importantly, the """"progressive"""" left have absolutely lost their fucking minds and need to be stopped. There won't be anything left if these idiots have their way. So the enemy of my enemy is my friend for now I suppose.
I imagine there are a lot of people like me on Sup Forums desu.

people simply are roleplayers here if the highest order. i change whatever my argument / belief is every time i reply to whatever just because i can. i dont doubt that people might take a site like this seriously; but if you do you're mentally retarded

Post leftist. Most of my posts are shitposts, pretending to be either a nazi or an SJW. I come here because of the fun and the happenings, but I don't take you seriously or respect you in any way - no argument here goes beyond "(white) feels > reals" and "look at this infographic".
I do believe in closed borders for practical purposes; building not-capitalism in one country first cannot happen if we have foreigners coming in and causing ethno-nationalist backlash.

>Life is just random and pointless, and sooner or later, we will all perish, and it will be as if we never existed. Not if get interstellar before we destroy ourselves. >Therefore, there is no reason to have future-oriented societies I'm an agnostic atheist and an absurdist. I agree that there is no extrinsic meaning to life, but my argument is that religion isn't wrong when it talks about strive to ensure the best afterlife, but because humans are inherently narcissistic they had to be bamboozled into being prosocial (and securing the future of their society as a result) with promises of a personal paradise in after they die. I believe that humans should strive to ensure the best possible afterlife, as in do your best to prop up humanity. At the very least you can see it as a game, and our goal is to try and set the highest possible score. You will inevitably lose at tetris, but it doesn't stop people from playing. >but the ones with one purpose: letting us all do what we want. to what extent? do you believe in ethics? Or are people allowed to violate the rights and wellbeing of others? the way I see it, if you think you should do what you can to minimize needless harm, or if you think you shouldn't kill or cause death or suffering, you should seemingly also have some moral obligation to not fuck everything up for future humans.

Other than spending literally one day on learning how to do your taxes, and occasional instances where I realized we where being taught revisionist history, I was generally satisfied with public school. Granted I went to the rich school in the best district in the best city in the region of a good state, and I'm an obsessive compulsive autodidact. Obviously US public education has problems but to say its fucked up because it doesn't fix every socioeconomic issue is a stretch. Plus its not like private and charter schools are a wonderful alternative. For every few great schools theres a dozen for-profit scam schools.

Center-left liberal. Unironically voted for Hillary but I sure as shit didn't put any bumper stickers on my car. I voted for Bernie in the primaries.
I don't hate globalism (I'm actually all for it) but I don't have any illusions about it either. It's another system of government that supports the upper class at the expense of the lower. I understand that it's been pushed for so long because it's a means of domesticating humanity into a a homogenous mass that is less likely to go to war with each other due to the blurring of national and ethnic differences. I also know that a small number of global elites are ensuring that they reap the rewards of unparalleled amounts of wealth being opened up by this burgeoning new monoculture. I don't care because as long as I stay comfy and am able to maintain a stable standard of living for my offspring the rest of the world can sit and spin.

>That'll just make it take longer. So? We can still set the high score. try and rub our dicks on as much of the infinite expanse as possible before the collective long goodnight. Knowing its all, on a long enough timeline, all for naught, to me is inspiring. theres no reason not to strive to transcend our ape roots. After all, humanity and human consciousness was probably triggered when our ancestor apes developed frontal lobes that allowed them to become aware of the inevitability of death and the ability to question what to do about it. Knowing we're going to die is what makes us humans. And understanding that life continues beyond you is what led early humans away from nomadism and into agriculture and infastructure development. >Not to mention that by then humanity will have spawned something no longer human. yeah thats the dopest part. >We will "exist" then as much as homo erectus does now, or even less. Still our ancestors. their dna will always be evidence of our existence and efforts. I'd rather humans be seen as the ape people that laid it up for the ubermensch.
Brayden Rivera

Kayden Ramirez
>The reality is that race is fundamental to our future progress as a species. eh. tribalism is the thing that will ultimately halt or destroy future progress. trying to keep down or eradicate the your outgroup is and has always been the source of the major setbacks in human advancement. When we try to look at the human dynamic as us versus them we'll never get beyond the status of advanced apes. Racial differences fade away when you start accounting for socioeconomic variables, and genetic diversity is overwhelmingly important for the future progress of the species. trying to eradicate outgroups will be less effective and almost certainly self-destructive, particularly when its not actually that hard to just address the socioeconomic issues.
Josiah Perez
>not acting retarded and edgy because everyone else is
if everyone on the board is intentionally acting politically incorrect on purpose, then the politically incorrect thing to do in the context would be to be politically correct? You're opposing the expected politically behavior without giving a frick
Jayden Jenkins
I'm not a Satanist. I'm an atheist and a hedonist. I want to live my life to the fullest while I'm here, to see and feel everything worth seeing and feeling.
That doesn't make me a satanist. Religion was invented by powerful people to keep other people under their control.
Xavier Foster

In my opinion none of this matters in the long run, but no, I believe that the ideal organization of society would be a government whose only purpose is fulfilling people's dreams. Basically a group of people united in the cause of satisfying their desires, so everyone would get at least a taste of the life they want while they still exist.

Politics is far more nuanced than left vs. right.
You can be left-wing and hate globalism.
Hillary is considered left-wing in the US despite being right-wing compared to most European political parties.
You can be a left-winger who doesn't agree with mass-immigration.
You can be right-wing and believe in globalism.
Kevin Hughes
This. It's basically evolution in political form. If you are fit, it doesn't guarantee survival, but increases its chances and vice versa. How can it be any better than this?
John Stewart
I mean thats a fun concept and all but it'd really just be a big ass party, the dream bubble would pop and then there'd still be hundreds of years of humans reeling in the aftermath.
I do think we have more than enough means in the west to vastly improve the standard of living of everyone to the longterm benefit of the society and the economy, but we live in a corporatocracy where the greater good and long term viability is being thrown away for the great baby boomer cash grab.
Jace Butler
Not really. It's the most efficient at producing and consuming COMMODITIES. For resource management, it is a catastrophe. We are destroying our ecosystem and our cultures and societies (divorce rates, depression, NEET's, herbivores, lifestylism ...) to manufacture fucking iPhones and cars driven by one person.
Of course, communism when tried has been even worse in this regard, and doesn't even give us the commodities. But we will still have to move beyond capitalism towards something else soon, or face either extinction of living, spiritual death.

I was all of those things minus the 'cuck'.
It's probably why I couldn't stay one of them, along with having a functioning brain. Once I took an active interest in politics and social issues I couldn't justify many of my previous ideas about race, religion, sex, etc. But then, I was always deeply interested in history and science. Trade functions better through standardised laws, Capitalism naturally trends towards a globalised, federal model.
Trump seems to be an old school national Capitalist, which in ways makes him more socialist than Hillary 'no borders for the rich' Clinton.
Zachary Hughes
Hillary Clinton was among those that instigated the overthrow of Gaddafi, therefore she is instantly on a moral level below terrorists and is inherently worse than any other candidate as none of the other candidates have done anything remotely as evil. Trump has permanently destroyed the democratic party, the greatest enemy of socialism in the world, and by doing this he has done more for socialism than anyone in history. Now that the democratic party is gone, we might actually have a good party rise up. As far as actual policy goes, he made trade reform and lobbying reforms major campaign points and he has a progressive tax plan.
I can't see any possible way in which he could cause more problems than any of the republicans or democrats. Wouldn't call him a failed businessman either, he's immensely successful. Still a Jewish shill though.

>Because you'll see the whole game for what it is. I think that just like with any other hivemind, "seeing the whole game for what it is" is just another way of buying into the narrative being sold. the hivemind is the game, and the standard Sup Forums narrative is generally an echo of reality built around selection and confirmation bias. Generally if you find yourself in an increasingly more isolating community that "sucks you in" with answers that make you feel good while fostering a dynamic where you're expected to behave a certain way, you're in a cult.
the real reality is that nobody sees "the whole game for what it is." the world is too complex and dynamic for there to ever really be any meaningful continuity, so instead people start with a conclusion and then cherrypick data to support it.

>Trump seems to be an old school national Capitalist I dont think trump has any meaningful thoughts about the nature of his beliefs. I dont think trump really has set beliefs. I was raised by a person with diagnosable narcissistic personality disorder, and trump is even deeper on the spectrum and less intelligent and crazily educated considering his education history. Even if he wasn't a belligerent dimwit, he doesn't really have a neurotypical human conscience.
And I'm not saying this to talk shit, but I'm pretty sure to trump his philosophical understanding of capitalism never extended much beyond his own personal success. I'd say he's closer to Libertarianism but that'd imply he ever had the intellectual curiousity or literate ability to have a meaningful understanding of any political philosophy.
As for what his administration is, its corporatist enabler on an extent cartoonishly beyond any president in history.
Charles Powell
I'm very conservative ideally, just willing to go along with some of the socialist and Statist solutions we currently have because the right seems to be horrible at selling their solutions or have given up on them to one degree or another. I would vote for and support a candidate proposing serious solutions that aren't leftist over one that is leftist even if I think that person is an asshole. Environmental regulations have gone completely Statist as well as most ecological considerations that aren't focused on disease and general wellness. There are a whole lot of other solutions that would not require as much (if any) taxpayer money that aren't even proposed. Outside of the right/left spectrum (these aspects of Sup Forums are popular on both ends): I will shitpost racist stuff when it amuses me, but I take most racist ideas with a grain of salt, and I think it is an absolutely horrible way to formulate political ideals, less due to morality and more due to the fact that most racist concepts have about as much backing as old wives tales. Stereotypes tend to be situationally accurate, though.
