because it was this door, the russians just took it later on to smelt it, as it was steel. same they did for most industry related stuff, take it all with them to rebuild their country and replace it here with shitty stuff. is the same for all countries that were under soviet rule (east german here, so i know it fairly well)
this was also the door that was in the newspaper relating the holocaust first, around the late 40's but got changed soon, as it clearly shows the gassing times and a warning to not go inside in german (doesn't fit the narrative of 24/7 gassing and unknowing jews going into "shower")
