Yes. In 1936 when we had bread lines, the Dust Bowl, and crippling unemployment all throughout the West, Germany had a labor shortage and a standard of living that was higher than 1929.
This in 3 years, from being the country absolutely worst hit by the Depression. Compare the life of the average German worker in 1937 to an American or English worker. It was absolutely staggering.
Though 50% of it was just listening to Hjalmar Schacht's genius idea of pegging the mark to industrial output. The North American analogue was the Social Credit which never got tried.

Define unemployment. The NSDAP had a policy of everyone is expected to contribute, so the whole idea of keeping part of the population unemployed to limit the labour supply and boost tax revenues wasn't an option.
If you were an able bodied man you were expected by your community and your government to produce. If you were an able bodied woman you were expected to raise a family. Virtually everyone fell in line and the ones that didn't were conscripted or in the case of women sent to mental hospitals or seminaries.
I wouldn't focus on unemployment because doing so would make communist takeovers look good on paper. Look at the standard of living, suicide rates, average calories per day, consumer confidence, industrial output, welfare issued, public surgeries delivered, etc. Truth is you won't find most of these documents because many records were lost during the firebombings and the ones that still exist haven't even been released in German.

"Economic miracle" does not really describe it. He focused his hatred on the Jews so that he could seize their assets. It's like Trumps with Mexicans. If trump can deport them in sufficient numbers the result will be (in the construction/infrastructure/food service sectors) downtime, stagnation, inflation and unemployment. The immigrant bubble will burst and the years of recession that follow will allow the largest contractors (who can afford to survive the recession) to cannibalize the smaller ones and eventually just pay american workers less and offer them less benefits (so that we don't have to support the immigrant population but we still get cheap labor)...it's not like trump has had a vested interest in increasing profits for these industries lol. The fact is that construction workers are in such demand and have such a shortfall in manpower that trade workers today are able to enjoy good pay and benefits even without the unions...this is bad for business

I didn't mean it was bad for business like I care, I am a trade worker myself. The smaller labor pool would increase the relative value of the labor, but this only means that nonessential non government contract work will be put on hold for years. Look back to 2008, when liquidity left the market, construction projects just stopped dead; skyscrapers were standing half finished in the air...the businessmen wont decide helll we have to pay them more, they will starve us out for a few years, making the demand for labor meet the supply and eventually when they do start hiring they will say "the recession changed everything all we can offer you is 12 an hour" and people will take it because they have been on their ass for so long (even a few months is too long for the working class);
