>Russia urges US comment on reports of fatal Syria mosque strike
The Russian Defense Ministry has urged a comment from the US after photos of a purported US missile fragment found in the rubble of a bombed Syrian mosque emerged online. The Pentagon denies that their forces hit the mosque.
Russia is expecting the Pentagon to comment on the deadly airstrike on a mosque in Syria’s Aleppo province, where at least 40 civilians were feared killed overnight into Friday, March 17.
“I think we should expect comments from the US partners anytime soon,” Konashenkov noted.
The news of the strike was broken by the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and the White Helmets activists who shared the first pictures from the scene. Some news outlets were quick to lay the blame for the attack on Moscow or Damascus.
Tragic mistakes that claim lives of civilians do happen at war, the Russian spokesman said, however adding that “before releasing anti-Russian false stories, they [media sources] should do their job as professionals by thoroughly studying the facts and getting to the bottom of things.”
Basque separatist group ETA ‘to launch disarmament initiative’ A representative of civil society groups says the Basque separatist group ETA will complete its disarmament by April 8. Txetx Etcheverry, a prominent figure in the French Basque community who tried to manage a disarmament effort in 2016, told Le Monde newspaper that a collective of civil society groups had received ETA’s mandate. “ETA gave us the responsibility of disarming its arsenal, and the evening of April 8, ETA will be totally disarmed,” he said. ETA announced in 2011 it was renouncing violence in its campaign for independence for the Basque regions of northern Spain and southwest France. It is blamed for over 800 deaths from 1968 to 2010. The Spanish government declined to comment in detail until an actual announcement is made. (AP)

Suspect explodes bomb, dies in Bangladesh security camp An official says a suspected militant has died after he exploded a bomb he was carrying inside a security agency’s camp in the Bangladesh capital. Rapid Action Battalion spokesman Mufti Mahmud Khan says the explosion happened Friday when security officials challenged the man as he entered the makeshift camp in Ashkona area, opposite Dhaka’s international airport. The suspect died at the scene. It was not immediately known whether the blast caused any other deaths or injuries. Khan said the suspect’s identity is being investigated. (AP)

Hmm, might be too. Oh noes, I needed these Rubles!
Maybe centre left. YPG follows Apo's new ideology after Marxism: Democratic confederalism. It's a sort of libertarian socialism. It's not supposed to be nationalist at all. There is no "Kurdish state" as a result of this ideology.

So, SAA is approaching Deir al Hafer, and expanding on Palmyra. Even FSA suddenly hates ISIS. YPG decides to openly declare when it will attack Ar Raqqa (whyyyy?). Pity that the Americans pretty much won the race to Ar Raqqa.

how could Trump even imagine he has the leverage necessary to remove Assad? The FSA is nothing what it used to be and the USA had to start bombing a lot of its preferred "moderate" rebels as part of the campaign to reign back in Nusra/ISIS. There is no army he could use except the US military, which I hope every one of his advisors is telling him would be a horrific idea.

It will fall, im more worried about the next stage of this war - the Kurdish issue and their fake Kurdistan fantasy in Syria and Iraq.
We all know that Iraq, Iran, Syria, and even turkey will work together on this. But we have no idea what Trump and Russia will do.
I think Russia gains more from the anti-kurd camp but the US have no one left in Syria except the SDF (which Assad and Turkey agree are militant combatants and should leave).
I dont think President has to make any compromise with the Kurds and should continue this strong approach and not leave an inch of Syria except under the SAA.
Caleb Lee
>except the SDF (which Assad and Turkey agree are militant combatants and should leave). SAA works with SDF forces and he will have to cooperate with them if he wants the land around and north of the Euphrates back...
If his mate has some news for me I'll keep you posted. If he got into trouble and there's a thing I can do, I'll try my best to help him out, but who knows, maybe he just had to visit home due to a family member being too sick to work and he had to jump in or something...

Its a very Zionist written letter that they typed it. You can almost tell this wasnt written by a classic Arab person that had a nationalist education in Syria.
Its not seeking revenge, basically theyre describing the bombing that happened at a mosque in Aljenah in Western Aleppo during isha prayer by the Americans.
Then they describe how Assad is united with western agents to destroy the Syrian revolution and the UN is silent about him.
oh my god a massacre how can anyone kill people who are praying in a place of worship.
why is the UN silent about Assad crimes and why can't they stop the river of the blood that is Syria, and how can the international collation bomb civilians, all of this is just an attempth to keep Assad in power
Austin Walker
Ah man I got that one in the phone too!

> SAA works with SDF forces
Not really, the SDF got scared of the Turkish forces and surrendered that land to the SAA to create a buffer between them and the Turks.
Last year the SDF commander stated they had no friends in Syria except the Americans, but this was in Obama's time. The SDF are not working with the SAA and president Assad will fight them when he gets rid of the ISIS terrorists.
If they dont surrender he can scare them with Erdogan. Assad and Erdogan are working together now.
Lincoln Phillips
>If digits Homsi got kidnapped by nusrats kek lets hope not as much as he has shit luck i still love Syria bros hire on sg

I think so as well, this is why its crucial that Assad works with Erdogan at that stage. Erdogan wants nothing more than stopping the Kurds and Assad wants his country back.
