In Tua on the main highway from Portugal into Galicia some butthurt Moortuguese had spraypainted over the Espana sign at the border with "Galiza" on both sides of the bridge.

I hung out in Valenca all day that day and saw more people I would categorize as non-whites in a single afternoon than I did in three months of the Camino.

That said, there were blue eyed blondes and typical portuguese around but I also saw a lot of miscegenated couples and shit walking around or even whites with dark swarthy children.

All this is anecdotal and I am certainly NOT well travelled in Portugal but it was certainly surprising to say the least, because I was expecting the "Spain is not white" meme to be truer to an extent than the Moortuguese meme because there are less muslims in Portugal than Spain.
