A strong super-state needs a strong military

I wonder why people are even arguing about this. An EU military is the logical and natural step forward. Combining the air forces makes for a more powerful fleet with fewer military airports but with jets being able to patrol across state lines.

A combined EU navy allows for power projection and allows for the building of 3-5 new state of the art aircraft carriers in Germany's Northern shipyards.

And a combined EU army with 1 million soldiers allows for combat ready battalions to be sent to warzones to kill and degrade the enemy.

The combined EU states have a 250 billion a year military budget right now - which is just 1.5% of GDP. That is fucking enough to build a great military.

Worth remembering that the biggest impact that European militaries are having on European society today is picking up and bringing in millions of Africans crossing the Mediterranean.

In other words: European militaries are helping the invasion of Europe.

European militaries already have bases in Africa. They are essentially there as part of the effort to stabilise the country so that Western manufacturers can move in and make a profit. A secondary purpose is to protect the immigration centre which the EU plans on building in Africa, which will process immigration applications from millions of Africans.

For the EU army to invade France it would have to step out of its barracks at the behest of French politicians in Brussels.
