North Korea is going to fall, and it's because North Koreans want it to fall.
North Koreans say Hail Kim Jong Un during the day, and clandestinely watch South Korean TV shows during the night.
Here's what's going to happen
>China and Japan agree to a hands-off policy except when their boarder security is in jeopardy, i.e. shoot any invaders, but don't invade >The USA provides tactical support from carrier ships and missile cruisers, providing air support, bombing, bunker busters, etc >The South Korean military invades with it's full force, including a full scale ground invasion, naval search and destroy/blockade, and joint air operations with the US Air Command >North Korea launches nuclear missiles at Seoul and a Chinese boarder city, which are shot down by American THAAD missiles † >Most of the north korean forces when encountered surrender or disband the military. >Only those who have been brainwashed will fight to their very quick deaths for Un. >Un commits sudoku before killing his family and pets >South Korea officially annexes the Northern territories and begins the process of reconstruction. >Any pockets of resistance will be easily overcome not with bullets, but with meatballs, since the people have been starving
Just for some perspective: Top paying north korean government officials get paid DPRK ¥23,000 per week, which is not even enough to buy 1 kilo of rice.
† If a missile hits a Chinese city, expect every red blooded Chinese man, grandpa, and boy from all over the mainland and the diaspora, riding pickup trucks to the North Korean boarder to kill north koreans
>North Korea launches nuclear missiles at Seoul and a Chinese boarder city, which are shot down by American THAAD missiles What about their artillery? The range is limited but they've got A LOT of it and Seoul is in range. The US probably wouldn't be able to destroy it in time (or thoroughly enough in an initial surprise attack) to avoid significant damage to Seoul. And they can load them with chemical weapons.
Jordan Hernandez
That is a possibility, but it would be destroyed within one day. They cannot defend against stealth aircraft.
Easton Taylor
anyone remember when that one North Korean user posted on Sup Forums?
John Evans
Nkorea has over 10,000 pieces aimed at Seoul.
Even if you can take out 1 a minute, that still almost a week.
Angel Brooks
This is absolutely never going to happen. And you know it.
Nolan Stewart
how many of them actually work and aren't just cardboard cutouts?
you're also assuming the soldiers will follow orders (they won't). you could drive a tank into north korea right now and as long as you are throwing meat buns at them they would rather eat the buns than fight the tank.
imagine the redpill for the NK soldiers when they are told anyone who eats one of those buns is a traitor
Aiden Brooks
Do you know how quickly NK would get sacked if they even tried that? KJU would at least TRY to protect his own life. Wiping out Seoul would be insta-death.
Dominic Taylor
The US probably spotted most of them already. Maybe they have real-time regional surveillance (possibly aided by AI) and they'd be able to spot hidden or new ones as they get set up and destroy them really fast. And they probably can detect and pinpoint them instantaneously when they shoot.
Seoul would still get damaged though. And if they get hit with even one chemical weapon shell, that's a huge problem.
>how many of them actually work and aren't just cardboard cutouts? They're probably real and working. Artillery is one of the few things NK actually can do right. >imagine the redpill for the NK soldiers when they are told anyone who eats one of those buns is a traitor They already get told that if they pick up propaganda brochures SK is dropping on them their hands will rot and falloff kek. I don't think you can trust NK not to counter-attack too hard. Who knows though, maybe you're right. Maybe they'd surrender to get favorable treatment.
Kayden Price
you're under the impression that south korea can't rebuild.
that's the thing with capitalism and wealth.
wealth isn't the stuff you have, it's the ability to continue to create wealth, ergo the ability to rebuild
Lucas Myers
well a delicious smelling piping hot pork bun is different than a leaflet
Ethan Carter
They'll tell them it's poisoned.
Caleb Long
oh damn never would have thought of that, you win, i guess every single north korean will just believe them
Christopher Jones
This will all take mass military and civilian mobement you don't think that the North Korean gobernment won"t notice any of this?
Kevin King
you need to read the new interview by the latest NK defector, former UN ambassador.
People have been predicting North Korea's imminent collapse ever since the fall of the USSR.
>Kim Il-sung dies in 1994 - NORTH KOREA WILL COLLAPSE!!! >Mid-90's famine - NORTH KOREA ON THE VERGE OF COLLAPSE!!! >George Bush puts new sanctions on their nuclear program - NORTH KOREA WILL FALL ANY DAY NOW!!! >North Korea tests an atomic bomb in 2006 - THIS IS THE RED LINE!!! FOREIGN FORCES WILL FINALLY COLLAPSE NORTH KOREA!!! >Kim Jong-il dies in 2011 - THE DYNASTY IS OVER!!! NO WAY WILL HIS FAT SON KEEP THINGS TOGETHER!!! REVOLUTION IN NORTH KOREA!!!
And on, and on, and on.
Remember, kids - North Korea NEVER collapses. If you go by "expert predictions," it would have collapsed about 25 times since the late-80's.
That's because North Korea is not a "real" country; it's a strategic puppet of China. Once you understand THAT, the rest makes more sense.
Jose Powell
There is a lot to be said for a piping hot pork bun
Wyatt Ross
So what you are saying is that when NK stops being useful to China it will cease to exist?
Austin White
The sorks are dependent on the chinese economically, but dependent on clapistan for military protection. What will happen if either of them drops support?
Andrew Cox
>how many of them actually work and aren't just cardboard cutouts? >The US probably spotted most of them already. Maybe they have real-time regional surveillance (possibly aided by AI) and they'd be able to spot hidden or new ones as they get set up and destroy them really fast. And they probably can detect and pinpoint them instantaneously when they shoot.
The estimate is at least 10,000, not including all the fake ones. N Korea actually has very good artillery, and knows how to use them. (For example, look at what happened at the bombardment of Yeonpyeong. South Korea was hit hard and they couldn't respond well.
The Issue is that not that we would not be able to stop them in time -- the Issue is that most of these units can function easily for 1-2 weeks without resupply, and in that time 100-250k South Korean civilians will have died in the bombardment.
As for all the "We would take out the artillery" - does anyone recall how hard it was for Israel to take out rocket artillery vs. Hezbollah. Sure North Korea would fall apart, but they would last a few weeks....
Ethan Young
china has nearly completed the justification of dropping of support to the public through it's media
they won't because that means losing a war with the USA under the Trump administration, and losing diplomatic friendly relations with the USA for the next 50 years at minimum
Easton Lopez
Everyone thought the same in October 1950.
China will think the US is not willing to lose tens of thousands of men and woman for Korea.
Andrew Howard
Their artillery is a fucking joke. Antiquated howitzers facing off against not only the US/ROK Airforce, but the navy (aircraft as well as guided missiles) and the Army, which has nearly as many Howitzers armed with GPS guided artillery shells. Guaranteed, NK's entire indirect fire capacity will be destroyed within hours, at least the portion of which is a direct threat to Seoul. The whole shit would be over in a matter of days. Maybe three weeks at the outside. Of course, thats all predicated on the fact that the Military itself doesn't step on it's own dick. I give it 70/30 odds.
Oliver Martin
>Everyone thought the same in October 1950. that's when they had a crazy old man from the countryside who was on a power trip running things
Isaiah Thomas
I wonder how Jason Unruhe would respond to a DPRK collapse
Cooper Miller
>Military itself doesn't step on it's own dick or disband.
NK military HATES Un, and they are undergoing an internal power struggle right now. they are all opportunists, not the least bit loyal to Un, who they know is batshit
Jordan Clark
and Xi Jinping of all people wouldn't get involved if US troops got close to the Chinese border?
William Reed
>China and Japan >Agree Nah
Zachary Garcia
why would he fire at troops that pose no threat to him? that's not in his interests whatsoever
Josiah Bailey
>North Korea is TNA: the country I understand everything now.
Henry Hernandez
they agree with the US, and ROK, not directly with each other. what's so difficult about this to grasp? this isn't a soap opera
Joseph Parker
China would view US troops near their border as a major threat. Just like Russia does.
Austin Gomez
Really only Seoul's northern suburbs are threatened by the artillery. Estimates without C-RAM and THAAD are something like 300-10,000 injuries maximum before Worst Korea and Uncle Sam can suppress Best Korea's righteous barrages of Juche.
Other threats include special operations being deployed in the South and Japan. Not sure what they'd achieve. Worst Korea is a very high tech fortress and the north would probably surrender after a few weeks of daily bombing.
> Finally get to see F-35 in combat.
Grayson Smith
This user doesn't understand how Japan is viewed by other asian nations.
Hint, NO ONE in Asia likes Japan.
Brody Bailey
>That's because North Korea is not a "real" country; it's a strategic puppet of China. Once you understand THAT, the rest makes more sense. and thats' why Un will fire one nuke at china, and one nuke at south korea when it goes it
Chase Morris
It would never fire at them unless they crossed the boarder. which they would never do.
you're acting like they just don't communicate with eachother during the entire operation
Charles King
When will we see a North Korean poster on Sup Forums ?
Angel Ross
>goes it goes hot
Liam Young
I was talking about our military. Especially the ROK guys...they are crazy. Human Rights violations out the ass if they cross the border.
Hunter Evans
when they fire missiles at the Bataclan and Dunkirk
Joshua Phillips
Plot twist
Kim Jong Un comes here for political advice
Kevin Martinez
China is clearly getting sick of shouting their dog down. There are plans in place to partition the north and get this over with. China should lead on this, they have the most to gain and least to lose.
> Peaceful border with a unified, heavy industry Korea. > Lots of mineral wealth in the mountains. > Direct trains to Pusan and Seoul from Beijing and Dalian region in northeast China.
Christopher Cox
>political advice inb4 >kys
Carter Collins
That is the only real issue, and frankly, the only reason NK has been allowed to exist this long. China under no circumstances want's an American ally sharing a border with it. Lately, NK has been stepping on a lot of toes tho, seems like big red is starting to get sick of their little cousin.
The historical fact is that China refuses to allow US troops near their border. It is generally accepted that China deals with North Korea to maintain a buffer. Even if China is pissed at KIm, they will not allow US troops to go in numbers close to their border. It part of their standard defense posture.
Levi Nguyen
mate, go read some chinese news.
they just sent the army to the north korean boarder to stop any north koreans from crossing. they're ready to end this
Xavier Morris
Yep, I could see China removing Kim for a General, or even at most allowing Reunification with heavy treaty limits on what can be placed near their border and a removal of many of the US troops.
Bentley Cook
That's why US forces will always maintain massive standoff from the border, with ROK forces making the final push to the Yalu. However, China would still view that as a provocation.
Lincoln Lopez
Its not the first time
Upset at Kim =/= allowing US troops near their border.
Jason Turner
Not Disagreeing - I think you understand the concepts - unlike our Aussie user.
Chase Reed
Trump
Asher Moore
The part you are leaving out is where North Korea launches its nukes at Japan and South Korea along with all of its other missiles
Wyatt Diaz
I could see that happening. Trump could spin it in terms of slashing that whole theatre from the operating budget. It's been a money hole since the 50's. I'd like to see an increased presence in Japan to shoulder the theatre-wide burden.
Carson Nelson
Someone with obvious NK connections shitposts once in a while. His writing style is unique and unlike the NK larpers.
Gabriel Morgan
And the part you're forgetting, is that as soon as they leave the pad, they are going into the ocean. Either through ECM, or via direct shot aka. PATRIOT or THAAD
Patriot doesn't exactly have anything close to 100% effectiveness in combat.
Luis Jones
I don't think so. China will go to war with the US using North Korea as a proxy. We're better of continuing to ignore them.
Logan Murphy
Its not about winning, it about the mayhem as you fall.
Levi Phillips
Then fire a hundred of them per target, still cheaper than cleaning up a nuclear strike.
Carson Nguyen
>ITT we summon DPRK proxy >again
Nicholas Clark
>implying they can even hold their rifle
Justin Foster
>implying they have bullets for that rifle.
Caleb Richardson
Yeah, but Electronic Counter Measures, that's a different story. Why do you think so many of their missiles tumble into the ocean like garbage?
Zachary Anderson
>North Korea north koreans are too hungry and too tired of living in hell to do anything resembling fighting.
they just want a nice dinner and to have a rest and not be slaves anymore
Joshua Davis
Knowing North Korea, wouldn't be past them having a nuke or chemical weapons in storage in the south hidden somewhere.
Jacob Roberts
Are you retarded dude? He's not arguing that NK will win. It's a foregone conclusion that they will be rendered combat ineffective within a matter of days.
Chase Rogers
If North Korea is to fall, it will be cause Kim Jung whatever got to hard to control for Chinese and they'll change him. You are a fool if you think China will allow American military in North korea
Jaxon Cox
you know there is tunnels that lead into south korea's capital right?
it will be a slaughter for both sides
Xavier Miller
Triples confirm. Seoul will burn. South Koreans will submit to Juche.
Joshua Brown
Lol. They are a paper tiger in every sense of the word. The only thing their intelligence service is capable of doing is murdering the sibling of their petulant leader, and badly at that.
Jaxon Torres
>commit sudoko kek
Matthew White
All they have to do is tactical nuclear strike on the US base in SK and they'll be able to overrun the South, then just dig in to stop American troops landing.
Tyler Baker
They go into the sea since that where they are targeted.
Gyro guided rockets are not going to be impacted by ECM after launch, it only going to be about jamming the fire command.
Isaac Reed
North Korean Anons post here Not much but every now and then
Jason Jackson
He already came user
Nolan Diaz
>the us base M8, there's more than one.
Lincoln Williams
That's a way too simple analysis, you should look at the deep state links between Aum Shinrikyo and North Korea. In short, the Japanese and Korean deep states wanted to gang up on China and genocide the northern plains with poison gas. This is some complicated, counterintuitive shit like what went down during the Cold War but it contradicts this "puppet" version. Once the regime falls I think we'll have some very, very interesting revelations on what countries had interests there previously. I'm thinking some American "FIAT" weapon factory in the USSR-tier shit.
Aiden Moore
I think China also does not want to go to war with our NATO allies sure you can hold off the U.S. but 27 other nations?
Blake Bell
When does the NK tv feed start? link?
Justin Thomas
Not only does this assume that NK has accurate tactical nuclear weapons, but that they could get them into action quickly. Also, a North Korean anti-landing effort would be bombarded into hell from the air. If anything, they'd attempt to pull an Iwo Jima and hide in the hills and caves.
Adam Bell
China would NEVER allow South Korea to share a border with them. Best case scenario is they oust Un and set up a puppet state with their own form of indoctrination, plus western style industry and trade.
Jackson Roberts
Usually starts real late like 2-3 am.
Xavier Miller
Thank (You)
Alexander Hall
if they are thinking of that, there are ways to counter it
Joshua Turner
Who countering what? Best Korea countering Chinese puppet state building?
John Ward
CIA agents in Seoul have found tunnels leading into the capital from north korea
plus you have the count the fact that they have been preparing ever since and have massive landmine fields at the border, and statues filled with bombs
Thomas Cruz
Realistically, that's the move here for China. If they force a coup, and send in 'peacekeepers,' that's a golden PR moment, 'liberate the concentration camps' so to speak.
Ryan Morgan
Hey Sup Forumsacks. US Army Defense Logistics Agency very-senior official here, based at Fort Belvoir, Virginia but frequent visitor to the Pentagon.
Pic related. Old copy of a paystub I posted in a bread a few weeks ago. Too lazy to capture a more current one.
My direct team maintains reediness to support the war fighter across the globe.
Ask away. FWIW, DPRK doesn't register on our radar at the moment,
What do you guys want to know about DPRK and our readiness program to support troops in the Asian theater?
>attempt to pull an Iwo Jima and hide in the hills and caves The US solved that problem ages ago.
Aaron Anderson
>Un commits sudoku before killing his family and pets >sudoku before killing
Jaxon Nelson
Japs got fucked for sure but try pulling the same thing nowadays with the media covering every single part.
Julian Clark
Who would they blame for shielding Best Korea from western criticism and sanctions for decades? Basically being the only reason NK can function on a day to day basis since the Cold War?
