Im not saying that it was a paradise, but i find it necessary that the enemies of the revolution had to be purged in those chaotic times. The party was faced whit a civil war and a populace that didn't really support their new government. Outside Moscow and St. Petersburg they didn't have much support and had to use the police to crack down on dissent. And no the Cheka didn't purge milions of people.

Have you any idea of how mucH 60 millions is? Because that's the reported number of people who died thanks to Stalin. Sound insanely high, right? Well, that shows how cruel your "perfect system" really is. Meanwhile, modern sources says that ~500k people died in the Holocaust (starvation, illnesses, executions), so nazism is now forbidden, but, for some reason, gommunism IS NOT.
