Stop bleeding with tourniquets, apply pressure to bleeding wounds, etc. You seem to be implying that letting someone bleed out is a good idea. My consultant was ex millitary and he said they were considering guidelines which forbid CPR in major haemhorrhagic trauma as simply put it does fuck all if youre not getting fluids going in. Basically the MPs efforts were completely in vain anyway but its a problem if people think its a good idea
