The reason why Brexit and Trump won is because of a sizable portion of the population being rural and not-represented (i.e. Wales tipping the scale for Brexit / The Rust Belt, etc. supporting Trump). France just doesn't have that kind of rural, hidden, untapped voter base that would tip the scale for her like Farage and Trump did. This is why what's-his-name in the Netherlands didn't become PM and only gained five seats.
