John Lennons Imagine is the most ville song ever recorded. It's infinitely more vile than anything Marilyn Manson or GG Allin ever done.
While things like Antichrist Superstar are over the edge and because of that noone really takes it seriously, Imagine is deceitful and packed as something reasonable and peaceful. But what does it really men?
"Imagine there's no countries", "imagine there's no religion", "the world will be as one". So, everyone will have to forget about what they believe in, everyone will have to reject their culture, their everything. "Imagine no possessions". You can't have any individuality. Everyone has to be the same and if you're no, you are an enemy of the peace and a danger to society, you fucking bigot. You can't even have a private property. This is totalitarianism presented as something good.
This is forcing moral relativism on everyone. This is disgusting and dangerous. Of course Lennon was a magnificent songwriter, but Speer was a decent architect too.
well it's either that, the apocalypse, or horrible bloody war followed by that.
Connor Morales
on the plus side their utopia will lead to war and suffering later.
Robert Fisher
That's why there is a black cube in the video....
Luis Lee
Found someone with NO imagination nor any concept of the meaning of the word itself.
Good job, OP. You'll be one of the first on the chopping block. Can't afford witless idiots in the blissful future.
Leo Gomez
"Moral relativism". The song basically invites people to chill the fuck out and judge people by what they do, instead of who they are and where they come from. Because, you know, at the time, we had that Cold War stuff going on.
Angel Baker
OP is redpilled.
Leo Bell
it's a nice message but impossible for humans, a classic utopia like socialism: it simply doesn't work because our natural corruption.
Liam Gutierrez
OP is right. Anyone who thinks "Imagine" is a great song is either a commie or autistic.
Jeremiah Jackson
Lennon is based af. Realized conservatism was the true way, and became besties with reagan.
Nathaniel White
And our greatest president ever got shot by a commie patsy at the height of the cold war.... Yet i only found out recently Oswald was a commie... I used to just know he was an ex-marine and I assumed he was right wing. Really makes you think....

Exactly what I've always thought, thanks for expressing it here. Did you know Lennon was a terrible person in his youth? Why is it always shitty people who end up prescribing these all-encompassing moral codes?
Andrew Martinez
OP is right. Imagine is the best goyim theme song.
Christopher Cook
The music is incredible. The lyrics are cancer.
Improve.
Logan Bennett
Countries were established to enrich the ruling elite and to send the poor off to war. Religions were established to control and dumb-down the masses. American consumers are focused on buying idiotic possessions with credit cards.
Can you imagine something better than this?
Justin Campbell
It sounds a lot like what Hillary Clinton wanted, and she did some horrible things. People have to admit that they are capable of doing horrible shit, everyone is rough around the edges, no one is perfect. If you pursue a goal with the delusion that you are perfect, then you will hurt many people and not even wince out of empathy, because you think you are doing it for a larger cause. So it's okay then to bomb innocent people because it's for a good cause.
Nathaniel Anderson
He is calling for world with NO BORDERS, and NO Nations and NO God and NO private possessions.
It's fucking Bolshevism just with ''nice guy'' face.

Ruling Elite (Globalists Bankers) are pretty International and Corporations are doing everything to weaken nation-states and spread their business globally.

Your entire post sounds like what a 16 year old "badass" would say after reading the first 10 pages of the Communist Manifesto.
Go back to Plebbit, you fucking no life experience having faggot.
Cooper Powell
diversity is not corruption we don't have to "live as one", because the world is big enough for all sorts of people living in their own communities, on their own terms
Lincoln Wilson
That is adorable
Kayden Hall
The music is meh, in my opinion. And it's really more about how the lyrics are fake deep and anyone I've ever met who's liked this song has been hell to talk to. I have nothing against the Beatles, or John Lennon really, I just think Imagine is retarded.

I dunno, enough time and Sup Forums and you can start seeing it as this cultural marxist piece of propaganda.
But really, it's just art tapping into a part of us, a small desire we all have, and it does a pretty good job with it. Christ, the song is called "Imagine", not "Overthrow" or something.
Hunter Myers
If you don't know where the Ab is, you don't get to talk, faggot.
Henry Ward
Antichrist Superstar was redpilled. Seems like a sensible well rounded bloke.

you are wrong. he was singing about ancap paradise.

OP is right
This is the false dream of utopians. Oscar Wilde's book, "the soul of man under socialism", is similar to this song. Wilde talks about how, without private property, men will be able to live selfless lives in community and not worry about acquiring wealth (greed) or competing with his fellow men. It's a false vision of heaven - THAT'S what you need to be aware of. When you get all of the elements right, except one single element - that is the most dangerous formula. So of course it is desirable that men live in peace together without greed; the problem is that giving all property to a world superstate won't create that peace.
Utopianism has its origins in the Renaissance, and then through to the Enlightenment. It was this idea that through science we would be able to create the perfect society. But Jesus Christ revealed the true path to peace when He said that "the kingdom of God is within you" - peace cannot come from reforming society (the dream of all socialists and utopians), but begin with a reformation of the soul within. This is the whole point of baptism and the Christian life in general.
Aaron Russell
it's a romantic notion of "the noble savage" and all that. They're song lyrics--you folks need to get ahold of yourselves.
Hudson Johnson
>Wilde talks about how, without private property, men will be able to live selfless lives in community and not worry about acquiring wealth (greed) or competing with his fellow men.
Actually, now that I think about it, this does actually exist - in monasteries. The religious community life that monks/nuns live is more or less the communist utopia that they dream of. The problem is precisely that this life requires poverty, celibacy, and perfect obedience - a life above most people, and not adopted to normal society.
Dylan Taylor
it was redpilled in a way, but on the other hand it was extremely bluepilled, spiritually desire of becoming is nothing good
Andrew Bell
Paul more recently said in an interview something interesting--
>"We could've sung about anything, but we sang about love n sheeeit."
There's something to be said about that. They weren't hateful. They didn't screech about depressing nightmare shit like metal. They sang about dancing, holding hands, their dogs, losing your girlfriend...etc.
Cooper Reyes
>what is a metaphor?
Cooper Johnson
ANd yeah, if you don't know how to play this song on piano and can't see the elegant simplicity, your analysis means nothing to me.
Camden Long
>"imagine there's no religion" That line always gave me a boner.
Juan Torres
>There's something to be said about that. They weren't hateful. They didn't screech about depressing nightmare shit like metal. They sang about dancing, holding hands, their dogs, losing your girlfriend...etc.
But like I said, the most dangerous formula is one that is right except for one error. The 1960s revolution happened because those kids really believed they had received some new revelation, a way of life that would bring "peace & love" to humanity. They were wrong though. Throwing off patriarchal authority, promoting "free love" (promiscuous sex), and thus abolishing the family - didn't bring peace or love, but bastards, orphans, sexual disease, depression, and more oppression.
Jonathan Bennett

He skipped school, he was in a gang, he would do roman salutes "ironically" on stage and force the fans to do do Roman-Hitler salutes "ironically", he was a sociopath, he pretended to be retarded on stage (ableism), he beat his first wife (she left him), he had 14-16 year old girls on demand for about 10 years and he tasted the fruit, he was lazy and left McCartney to write while he sat around eating and smoking pot (he got very fat in 1965), he was an alcoholic, he was incidentally homosexual (his homosexual manager, (((Epstein))), originally promoted the band because he was in love with those young men in leather trousers), he was antisemitic (when they rehearsed the vid related he used to sing "baby you're a rich fag Jew" in reference to Epstein), he once said he admired Hitler, he had a short temper, he once said that the Beatles were "bigger than Jesus", and when the hippy movement came about he suddenly became a "hippie" to cash in (he was actually a quiet Republican all the way up to his death), he beat his second wife (who can blame him), and abused his son (Paul wrote "hey Jude" to cheer the kid up because his dad was such an abusive cunt), he then started acting like a huge bellend in the band and broke it apart, then he carried on with his "PEACEMANPEACEANDLOVE" but most people saw through his bullshit, he cashed in on the hippie shit and then went back to making pop music when the hippie fad blew over, before his death he wanted to take the Beatles back on tour because his finances were shit and Paul said "GTFO", then he was shot by someone more of a twat than him.. Really makes you think.
By the time that song came out, Lennon would've been extremely dismissive of the hippie movement. There's easily as much of a chance that these lyrics are cynical as they are sincere.
Connor Martinez
he is not arguing for a world like that. But to Imagine what one would be like so we can improve the world we have and see things from a different perspective in order to do so

Lennon was evil, as were and are the rest of the beatles, as are most popular musicians and famous people. People worship that sort of thing.

This.
John Lennon was a narcissistic sociopath who abused and then abandoned his family, and went on to preach hypocritical vague nonsense with his soulless succubus of a concubine "wife". The Beatles were a middle of the road Rock n' Roll act, who happened to have amazing management and pioneering marketing (their manager initially used to pay young girls to go and freak out when they'd arrive at shows to build up hype for the press). Then they started doing the drugs, travelling to India and got all wacky and experimental. They decided they were loldeep and all the vacuous moronic fans fell for it completely. Literally the only one who had ANY relevant philosophical awakening was George Harrison. Ringo never pretended he was anything but along for the ride, and Paul realised pretty quickly he could ride the bandwagon of "alternative philosophy" into legendary fame.
Anyone who tries to evangelise about how special, unique and revolutionary the Beatles were immediately loses a large amount of my esteem. Not only were they playing catch up with the Rolling Stones and about a dozen other bands, they never even managed to be their equal. They were simply more marketable and then had to crazy groovy bullshit to remain relevant after the initial hype had died down.
Xavier Young

>Muzzies are never going to cuddle you >National borders will never stop being relevant >IN GROUPS WILL NEVER *EVER* STOP BEING A THING >The real world is full of people who will take advantage of your generosity if they don't consider you part of their group
You have to protect your people or you'll lose them You have to protect your country or you'll lose it You have to protect your culture or you'll lose it
>naaww maan, project peace and love into the world and it'll reflect back on you
All my fucking life, that bullshit has been the undertone, thanks to being raised by a generation that grew up listening to horseshit like 'Imagine'. And look at how they fucked up the world. The only people still espousing this are the ones rich and sheltered enough to remain this fucking naive.
Fuck you John Lennon, burn in hell.
Caleb Ward
Don't worry, most of that is bullshit.
Kevin Williams
meanwhile, compare his lyrics, to things christians actually want and are actively trying to achieve
Imagine there's a heaven It's easy if you try There's hell below us Above us only God Imagine all the people living for jesus Imagine there's no countries It isn't hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And one religion too Imagine all god's people living life in peace, you You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope some day you'll join us And the world will deus vult as one Imagine no possessions I wonder if you can No need for greed or hunger A brotherhood of man Imagine all the people sharing all god's world, you You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one I hope some day you'll join us And the world will be as one

The lyrics of that song are exactly what the zionists/kikes/illuminati want, and announce they are heading towards as their ultimate goal.
A slave race with no property or identity, with a single world government ruling over them.
Dominic Cruz
Religion is fucking shit. Get over it.
Carter James
Thank you! It sounds good only if you don't actually think on the implications. When you realize that the "world peace" is just a scam in order to sell you the rest of the bullshit he says you then realize what's really going on. It's a good song for people who don't think. If you think on it you'll be happy John was shot. Fucking creep.
Blake Cook

These people were actually very lacking in love or understanding of other people, perhaps more than anyone else. You can imagine all you want but looking at the reality of such a thing is basically what we have now. It is a world of extreme violence, barbarism and tyranny. Your average person is not human and feels nothing but aggression and fear. They will accept anything as the human race moves into total psychopathy. When are these turds going to admit they were wrong?
