(including only nominees, not candidates who didn't get their nomination)

Richard Nixon
Gerald Ford
Ronald Reagan
George HW Bush
George HW Bush
Barack Obama
Mitt Romney
Donald Trump

And before anyone asks... In 2008 I supported Obama because Sarah Palin was a deal killer for me.

Not only was she a complete moron and entirely unprepared for the job, she was a threat to the Republic.

>George HW Bush
>George HW Bush
>Mitt Romney
>Donald Trump
>Richard Nixon
and palin was a deal breaker for you

Considering the blowout Obama had in 08', you weren't alone.

None lived up to expectaions... LOL maybe Regan. I fucking cheered when he bombed Gaddafi's house.

Muzzies were not tolerated then... Iran had just had over 400 hostages, and released them before Regan was sworn in.

Was good times in the USA , good music, not a bunch of shit all over like now.

GHW was (and is) a great man.

So was Nixon. People these days only remember Watergate, but they forget how loved he was by the people and how much of a giant he was.

But as for Palin... I put country before party, especially as I got older.

There's no way I would vote for a president who didn't know (I kid you not) who fought who in WW2.

Part of the problem now is that they did away with the old farm system.

In the old days, people worked their way up the ladder. They would start in Congress, then move on to the senate or a governorship, then on to a cabinet position, and them maybe VP or President.

Everyone had to earn their place at the table. And long years of service (usually) weeded out those who had too many problems to be an effective leader.

Now, everyone knows it's just a popularity contest. As long as you can last the 2 years of the campaign and not screw up too bad, you can make it even if you have zero experience.

It's like someone took the wrong message from Lincoln.

He said "You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time".

Modern political scientists have taken this down to... as long as you don't take too long to win, you can fool your way into office.

I wrote in Donald Trump for years, then he actually ran. Dumb luck, but now I can't stop winning.

Your shitty pepe is a troll

Were you old enough to write him in in 2000 when he ran on the Reform Party?
