Why is Sup Forums not talking about this?
You did so much to stop SOPA, PIPA and even TPP and you're just gonna let this go?

wat

It's their data, they're allowed to sell it to make a profit. Why do you hate free industry? I thought you libshits went crying to Canada after Trump won?

ha, incognito

It's your data, and you're letting them pimp it around without giving you a cut of the profits. Why are you such a fucking cuck?

ShareBlue must be doing pretty good to hire all you trolls.

Shit passed 50-48, still has to go through the house but it's controlled by Republicans so it will almost sure pass.

Republicans are the only people we have to fight for us, libshits will sell us out. MAGA, faggots. Liberalism is amental disorder

Troll or fucking moron?

Yeah, he has to rethink this one.

Did I trigger you, ShareBlue?

>Sup Forums votes republicans in
>They immediately betray Sup Forums

Haha time for tor and bitcoin to become prominent
>oy vey intensifies

? Classical republicans are cuckservs of the highest order. They'll fight for Israel and their brothel, not you.

If you love free industry so much, why do you like Trump, a protectionist? Why are you interfering with business, dictacting who they should or should not deal with? You a commie?

Yes I'm sure selling American info to shady Chinamen will make America great again.

vpn city here we come.

How do we even stop it?
I really can't see how this is a good thing from anyone's perspective beyond a very small group of people.

>Sup Forums goes paranoid over supposed libshit paid trolls and shills
>turns out the repubs were the ones paying shills out the whole time

pottery

It's my info and if they want to share it they had better fucking pay me.

>If you love free industry so much, why do you like Trump, a protectionist? Why are you interfering with business, dictacting who they should or should not deal with? You a commie?

ShareBlue is hiring in Canada, too? The GOP is all working Americans have. Niggers got the Democratic party. This is just another way to grow businesses, so that money can be taxed and reinvested in new businesses. Jobs are pretty important in non-socialist countries.

>It's their data, they're allowed to sell it to make a profit.

No it's not, and no they aren't.

That's why they're trying to change law.

>so that money can be taxed
I thought taxes were bad and socialist

Your ISP still sees where you're sending packets to, and where they're coming from dummy. VPN may be the only solution, and even then, they can see you're using a VPN, and the government is already complaining about not being able to monitor VPN traffic.

Taxes on capital are socialist, they stifle investment. Taxes on labor are necessary.

They don't own the data any more than the US postal service owns my mail. ISPs provide the service of transmitting information. Possession of the information is restricted to the sender and the receiver, not to any party which chooses to intercept it.

The ISPs own the data. Period. They're allowed to sell it if they want. Hell, they need to be allowed to throttle, too. Fucking greedy Netflix jews

...

yall can fuck off, I thought this was a pro-trump/conservative board?

...

Wrong.

I didn't sighn any written permission for then to have access to my data. Therefore this is theft and illigal

Don't know much about VPN, but if your ISP knows about your VPN, collects data coming in or out, can't they just match it up with the data sent out and collected by the website they're investigating or something?

Pls no bully.

The spooks buy the data from ISP's already, I think about $10 a shot for the IP account holder info and any available history, that part is already law. I think this needs to be done because spook management is outsourcing a lot of stuff now so ABC spook contractor corp needs to get at that stuff as well. Muh state security. Too bad you as an individual won't be able to buy Mary Jane Rottencrotchs ISP history from next door though.

...

We'll need another layer of cryto.

*crypto

>Why is Sup Forums not talking about this?
because we just had a fucking giant thread about it with that exact OP image
Oh my fucking god people.

The ISP is not infiltrating your computer to check the history button in your browser.
They are literally recording, on their end, who asks THEIR service for what sites, and they're selling THAT information.
Do you object to that? That's your prerogative. But find out if your particular ISP is even selling the data you are objecting to being sold and if they are, inform them that you object, and find out look to see if there's ISPs that don't.
Two, be aware that this rollback only effects the last 4 months. Whatever "rights" you thought you had about your browsing data, you didn't. The FCC only put these rules into place in December 2016.
Lastly, the law is merely rolling back the FCC control over it. It's not saying they object to the concept behind it. It's saying the FCC doesn't get to make that rule, the congress has to (or possibly the FTC, but definitely not the FCC)

It's their data, don't like the rules don't use their service. I bet you'd make a Christian baker make a gay cake for a gay '''''''wedding''''', wouldn't you?

Spooks literally have listening post rooms built into backbone nodes.

The problem with selling information, it WILL be sold to people who will use it to damage.

I.E., for your example, all I need to do is spoof a shell corp.

>Sup Forums isn't full of retards

Rolling back big government regulations from December of the Obama administration is a pretty conservative thing.
Did you notice not a single conservative voted against this?

>Republicans
Neo-cons? W signed the Patriot Act.

>Not using a Nepalese VPN paid for in Yach milk

Kys

what are they going to do with my porn history? nothing. I have nothing to worry about. get fucked pedos

ill be happy when obummercare goes, too

roll that shit back to pre-2010 when I could afford my pemiums

VPNs to hide where we're going
And encryption to hide what we send/receive

Even then, we already know the CIA has been looking into placing their people into development teams to create backdoors, so nothing is certain anymore. All we can do is take basic steps to protect ourselves.

>Shareblue is hiring in canada too?
no that's just a leaf being a leaf

It sound reasonable.

The method would have to be unreadable by their servers or have to bypass them all together. Bullshit is they're the only way we can access the internet and it's a monopoly with 2 major companies that made a deal not to compete with each other, and all other options are shit.

this is why i hate burgers

not like they dont have backdoors for evrything if you get targeted they can find anything

Intel user said that they build backdoors on the CPU that run on any OS, can't be copied over, and the CPU doesn't even know it's running in the background so you can't stop it. Don't know if that can be confirmed tho, so it could just be some random guy trying to scare everyone.

this, if they're going to use my data for profit, I want some money out of it

This is spam. There have been forty-seven one-post threads demanding to know why we aren't talking about something that had forty-seven threads.

So if I pirate a movie I am fined $100,000 I go to jail but if I take a picture and email it to my server then it's the ISPs property and they can distribute it?

bait or you are the biggest corporate cum guzzling bitch in this thread.

You motherfucking gringos, fix this shit right now!!!! It's not fucking fair, we get their shitty cucked ass laws and can't do anything about it!!!

Anyone 18+ with an IQ over 80 knows that the republicans are masters of getting people to vote against their own interests. Looks like we know the demographic of Sup Forums now.

How do I stop being paranoid about this shit?
I'm not doing anything that bad
Except pirating tv shows and music

because its been shut down once before and still has to pass in the house to get to trumps desk and he can veto it you dumb favela monkey

I wonder how you corporatist idiots will feel when looking for a new job and the company buys all your browsing history. I'm sure a company would love to hire a guy who frequents a site that uses the words kike and nigger.

So if anyone distributes CP, should the ISP be shut down since it's their property?

Literally the only people who benefit from this are corporations

You realize that bills first start from the House then go to the Senate. The House already voted yest on this thing. This bill is going to Trump now and he is sure as hell gonna sign it..

The globalists fucked us again

and faggot, sweetie

The only thing your ISP would see is that you are sending and receiving data from the VPN. Even if they could also monitor the VPN (you're a fucking retard if you'd use a USA-based VPN) they could only see that a bunch of data is going in and out. They can't match it to you unless the VPN keeps logs and provides those logs.

and leftist fags and jews, a employer can look at your history and choose not to hire you. if your employer is a kike and sees that you post the notorius hate symbol pepe he can choose not to hire you, and you can try to say its descrimination but good luck proving he decided not to hire you because of a cartoon frog

>trump will sign it
what proof do you have of this? he can veto it delay while pushing to have it voted no on while they try to override it. if it does pass just use a vpn or tor

This was a repeal of a new regulation put in place by the executive (not congress) to stop companies doing an existing practice. Oh btw, there was a special concession for Google, they could continue to sell your info even under this reg.

Repealing cronyism? I'm happy with it.

that's what you get for you get for shitting yourself out of rage at the mere idea of regulating amoral corporations

>They are literally recording, on their end, who asks THEIR service for what sites, and they're selling THAT information.

Uhhh yeah, that's exactly why this shit should be illegal. Or can you not see just how major of a privacy violation this is?

>and find out look to see if there's ISPs that don't.

You do realize that there's only one or two ISP's available in large swaths of the country right?

>believing that they're not doing this anyway

If you're that paranoid, just set up a VPN.

do we have any proof that said bill exists and did pass? you haven't linked the article and haven't posted any proofs.

Sup Forums is too easy to troll with fake shit nowadays, fucking newfags

>right to privacy

This meme needs to die. You don't have a right to privacy. You're using a service a company provides, you signed the contract which lets them collect your info.

Libertarians are garbage and need to be deported.

I agree it's horse shit. It's underhanded garbage because the telecommunications industry is essentially a giant monopoly. They stay out of eachothers jurisdictions and price gouge however they can, and then turn around and want to sell the data that you send through their tubes when it's essentially a necessity in todays world that you do so. Jewish tricks.

it goes house then senate doesnt it?

>you signed the contract which lets them collect your info.

that wasn't in the contract

>Hasn't heard of MITM attack

The ISP controls the stream and the hardware.
They can Man In The Middle your VPN traffic and decrypt and then reencrypt it.

>implying you've ever read a contract

This, also iPhone

trump is inept about tech.

But they need the key to decrypt it user.

>tfw have rigorous data protection laws
>tfw glad to live in europe for once

>collect your info
is the key word, they can collect all my hentai and gore they want, but as soon as they sell it, thats crossing the line

incognito only prevents your history from showing up on your browsers history page. your isp still sees it.

>shills calling Sup Forumslacks shills
Real retarded.

sure it is

"However, you aren't invisible. Going incognito doesn't hide your browsing from your employer, your internet service provider, or the websites you visit."

ik Apple already sees it
i saw the wikileak

Come back, Aaron. Fight my battles for me.

privateinternetaccess.com/blog/2017/03/us-senate-votes-50-48-away-broadband-privacy-rules-let-isps-telecoms-sell-internet-history/

yes. alot of people here are misinformed about US politics. if the senate votes on it then the house already voted yes on it. bills start from the house then go to senate then to president.

Fucking liberals selling our privacy. We need the names of every fucking libshit that voted for this.

your literally retarded. a bill can be proposed in either the house or senate. read a book faggot

People under 18 with an IQ under 80?

explain how come the AOL searches they where all bragging about where leaked and then censored and now oh yuea anytime somethings illegal its ok to just do it and call it legal.

This is the future you chose Drumpfy

Well I saw quite a few of them defending the recent net neutrality debacle leddit is doing a real number on this place
