I personally believe in a God.
But do you seriously believe in Christianity? Do you believe in a literally Jewish Jesus who walked on the water and used magic? How cucked and bluepilled can you be?
Explain yourselves!

Jesus was anti-jew, which is why jewish authorities and founders of modern judaism (pharisees) bribed the Romans into killing him.

Naw, the human mind tends to like things in story structure. Long tradition of symbolic figures and story being a form of compression. Basically a condensed meme cluster that needs a key for unpacking. Jesus was a teacher, the bible is a teacher's manual, yer supposed to know what it means or have someone explain it.
Time for the ultimate chaos
A self-hating Jew is nothing new. Does not change the fact that he was Jewish, had a Jewish name, looked Jewish, lived in Israel, spoke Hebrew.
Same, but I also believe throughout time Christianity has become a European thing.
Map is basically Europe + it's colonies. I honesty believe we should leave behind most aspects of Christianity and just refer to all Christian European peoples as one culture
...
What inspires people to create things like pic related just can not be called cucked or wrong.
So you believe in God who created water, but him coming to earth and walking on water is too much...?
Jesus was not anti-Jew, He is a Jew and came to fulfill the law which was given to the Jews
Judaism (Old Testament) and Christianity (New Testament) are inseparable, they go hand in hand, thinking otherwise shows your lack of knowledge
KYS
The bible talks so much shit about the Jews, and yet (((they))) couldn't "silence" him after his death?
It doesn't make sense that he was just a random autistic pleb and Christianity has billions of believers today. He MUST have been legit. And we're not even talking about all the unexplained holy events and miracles such as Fatima and stuff
Whether or not you believe in him, you gotta respect the main point of Christianity, which is to help and love your brothers (inb4 catholic degeneracy)
Jesus, and all of the early Christians, were Jews. Everyone was Jewish.
The "Jews" you're referring to, are probably the Pharisees
You don't know what you're talking about m8
Yeah, but that doesn't mean the interface isn't a bit screwed, I think the human mind might have sumpin to do with that.

Less and less over the years. I also believe in teachings of Jesus but not in all of the "miracles" he performed since those were likely fabricated by his followers years after his death in an attempt to get people to believe in his divinity.

Fucking Jews, always pushing atheism.
It's a cultural marxist technique.
Attack all societal institutions that could potentially take away from the authority of the state.
That's why they attack the family unit, religion, marriage, gender, race, etc.
Attack anything that could potentially disturb the government's authority.

Not me, I believe in a "GOD" that is the *source* of creation. I think what "god" creates is potential and agency, and the whole thing cascade from there.

Fine, then be clear about it, because just as there are fake Jews there are fake Christians, fake pastors, fake everything... It's called sin.

That's saying a lot more than just "Oh I was talking about those fake Jews". I'll give you the benefit of the doubt though.
Since you have those books I assume you understand the importance of Israel and the Jewish people, and how important they also are for God.
I have an ESV and KJV myself btw
Uhhh.. what? source of creation, created everything, same thing...
If we can't even agree on the definition of God, then oh boy trouble a brewin... Something tells me you don't really believe in a personal creator God but some weird gnostic concept of energy and the universe. If so, then that's bad my friend, and false!
Why do you belive in a personal creator god?
>Not being pantheist masterrace
>If we can't even agree on the definition of God, then oh boy trouble a brewin... Something tells me you don't really believe in a personal creator God but some
>if you don't agree with me then you're wrong
Typical christfag pseudo intellectual. I'll enjoy watching you make a fool of yourself all thread long
I think of god as creating energy(potential) and consciousness. Then the consciousness collapses the potential into actual existence.
First creating mind, then mind creating matter. So if there was an entity that created the world, I would think of that as several steps along in the process of creation. And yeah, my model I would think has a far bit on congruence with gnostic ideas.
It's the explanation that makes most sense
The Bible has an undeniable ring of truth to it, and speaks to your heart, and exposes who you are completely because your creator knows you, so there's that
But also philosophically it makes sense, because the only way you can get a finite effect from an infinite cause, is if that cause was personal. If it wasn't personal, then the effect would be infinite as well, but we know from science that the universe is approaching heat death in X billion years (I forget how many).
We also know that the universe began somewhere around 13 billion years ago too, and everything that begins to exist, requires a cause. God is the first uncaused cause.
Don't worry I've thought about this and researched this, I will say this though, that reason and arguments might help you believe in God more, but I think ultimately you have to read the Bible and let it speak to your heart.
If you're interested in philosophical/scientific/historical arguments for God, check out the videos of William Lane Craig on Youtube. For more "human" stuff that you can relate to, check out Ravi Zacharias.
I don't want to start yet another long debate on Sup Forums because I'm tired and want to go to bed soon :)
He called out jewish elites, and was killed for it.
Amen brother
I believe in Lord Ignis The Ascendant being. He has never performed magic tricks or anything like that. He only wants a better future for us
I agree with god as the cause-less cause that somehow creates the chain of cause-effect that we call reality. I just don't think that there is intervention after that. I think all we need is already baked in, and the truth of religious texts is operating instructions.
Christianity is the antidote to all pain and suffering. Your biology allows you the freedom to lie, which causes all your sickness and death. Renounce your freedom to lie, and you will find life.
It's a simple exercise to try. You commit to never, under any circumstances, use deception in any interaction with another person.
If you actually use what he taught your life will change for the better. If you take what was taught to the limit you can prove it's true.
This alone forces you to become one person, completely authentic, who stands or falls on the merits of their argument.
>The Bible has an undeniable ring of truth to it, and speaks to your heart, and exposes who you are completely because your creator knows you, so there's that
Completely emotional non argument that holds zero weight
>But also philosophically it makes sense, because the only way you can get a finite effect from an infinite cause, is if that cause was personal. If it wasn't personal, then the effect would be infinite as well,
gibberish
>We also know that the universe began somewhere around 13 billion years ago too, and everything that begins to exist, requires a cause. God is the first uncaused cause.
The universe could have always existed or it may not have been created by the Christian God. This isn't any more of argument for Christianity than it is for any other God
>Don't worry I've thought about this and researched this,
Don't worry he's thought about it
I never called myself an intellectual, although maybe I was a little bit condescending with the way I replied.. Didn't mean to come off that way.
The energy had to come from somewhere though, and energy itself is a physical reality that is part of the universe we live in, which itself began to exist billions of years ago as we know from the Big Bang. I think your view is untenable.
If you mean potential energy in a purely non-scientific way, which I can't even picture, then even then I would say there's literally no good reason to think it's true.
In any case I'm too tired to debate, but I will suggest, if you'd like, a couple of videos by the brilliant mind of Ravi Zacharias.

Atheists just can't get over the fact that they lost the culture war.
Let me take you under 18s back to the year of 2006:
>atheism on the rise on the internet with their voices getting more heard everyday
>atheist leaders like Dawkins, Harris, and (worst) Hitchens are respected voices in the community
>r/atheism is one of the top boards on bleddit
>corporate stores trying to push things like "Happy Holidays" and having "Holiday Trees"
Cut to today:
>Dawkins, Harris, and (worst) Hitchens (may he RIP) viewed as complete psychos for their insane political/social views
>r/atheism moved to the basement of bleddit because it was embarrassing euphoric garbage
>things like "Reason Rally" draw less than a Hitler impersonator at a bar mitvah
>atheist communities tear themselves apart over things like elevator gate (giving rise to New Atheism, and Atheism+, which are less successful than just regular Atheism)
>constant rape and sexual assault allegations at atheist conventions (even atheist leaders like Lawrence Krauss are accused...by other atheist leaders)
>"Happy Holidays" and "Holiday Trees" are a distant memory
>liberal atheists in Britain crushed by Brexit
And quite frankly all this bad stuff wasn't even needed. All it would have took was one euphoric quote and a couple of fedora pictures. Christianity is still kicking 2000 years later, and atheism is at it knees because of a jpeg of a fat guy in a fedora. Sad
Atheism is the fastest shrinking religion in the world. Atheism is in decline worldwide, with the number of atheists falling from 4.5% of the world's population in 1970 to 2.0% in 2010 and projected to drop to 1.8% by 2020,
Real surveys and statistics say atheism is on the decline worldwide. Sorry atheists but atheism is not on the rise nor is it winning. It's still the minority and a declining one at that.
The Pew Research Center's statistics show that atheism is expected to continue to decline all the way into 2050 with a continued growth of religion. Other research also shows a huge surge in growth for Christianity in China which is currently the world's most "atheist" nation because of the atheist communist government suppressing religion, the research suggests that China will soon become the world's most Christian nation within 15 years.
This is simply history repeating itself: Christianity prospered in Rome back in the ancient era when it was suppressed and it still grew in the militant atheist soviet Russia when it was suppressed there only a century ago with the majority of Russians today now also identifying as Christian. Just goes to show that atheist suppression of religion still doesn't stop religion.

>gibberish
Nope, this isn't even from me, but the brilliant Philosopher of Science with more degrees than hairs on your head, Dr. William Lane Craig.
It makes perfect sense.
>The universe could have always existed..
Aside from the logical problems of infinite time that would arise, and other issues, we actually know from science that the universe in fact is not eternal. It's pretty much proven by now, so there's no point debating this point really...
So you're not dumb enough to believe religion but you're still subscribing to the notion of a god? Are you agnostic who thinks god created the big bang?
There is no evidence of any god, but you claim we cannot know if one doesn't exist because it's outside our universe.
Suppose the universe is a box, we cannot know what is outside of it. A theist claims god exists outside the box. An agnostic claims we cannot know. A sceptic will then claim that a unicorn exists there. The theist will reject this because it does not fit their world view. The agnostic will claim that is equally unknowable.
The sceptic then proceeds to claim an endless number of things, from leprechauns to mount rushmore, and all of them are rejected by the theist. Indeed, the agnostic will yet claim we cannot know they don't exist, but when pressed further will concede that all these claims have been made up, as the sceptic admits they have been. It turns out it is trivial to point out something that doesn't exist outside the box, but impossible state something that does. It is simply impossible to support that claim.
The agnostic will then suggest that these things are not equivalent, because god is divine in nature. Thus it is revealed that agnosticism is a theistic belief, not a logical one. An agnostic is still influenced by belief in the stories that have been engrained into society.
If you still entertain the notion of a god, it means you're a slave to human superstition and irrational need for a sense of being right, not the knowledge of the truth. Strong emotions, awe, and a sense of a greater purpose is not evidence of god, and does not need a god to exist just as strongly in a person.
>The Pew Research Center's statistics show that atheism is expected to continue to decline all the way into 2050 with a continued growth of religion.
I always attributed this to the fact that westerners (I.E. who Sup Forums gives a shit about) are dropping religion, but it's thriving in poorer nations that need a dressed up version of hope.
Or they could just worship the one true being, Lord Ignis
...
Of course can't picture potential energy.
Last I heard quantum physics couldn't be put in accurate picture's. Can't picture where virtual particles come from either.
God is real. Jesus is Lord. Repent and be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Call upon His name with every ounce or your soul, Jesus will shine His love on you. Only then will you understand. God bless!
>Do you believe in a literally Jewish Jesus who walked on the water and used magic?
yup, Jesus is Love, Jesus is Life
Ignis is real. Ignis is lord. You do not need to repent, or suffer at the hands of cuck religions. Just seek the light and nurture the spark
Have to check the guy out later, at work now.
And yeah, i think god is outside of time and space and is several layers of incomprehensible.
Not really scientifically addressable.
Damn, that argument proved god. Pack it up boys, this guy did it.
>there's no point debating this point really...
WRONG. and great job ignoring the second part:
>or it may not have been created by the Christian God. This isn't any more of argument for Christianity than it is for any other God
>but the brilliant
His supposed brilliant claims are gibberish
>If it wasn't personal, then the effect would be infinite as well,
Baseless gibberish
>but we know from science that the universe is approaching heat death in X billion years
Heat death does not mean the end of existence
Jesus did cursed the Jews, told them to quit jewing everybody or the kingdom would have taken away from them and given to the gentiles.
so what Jesus was born a Jew. he rejected what Jews were becoming and they killed him for it.
Christians used to be based when dealing with jews and moors but became cucked over time.
don't forget Jews persecuted the early Christians, many of whom were ex Jews. Christianity was one of the most anti Jewish religions, why do you think Jews hate it so much?
today's Christian has been subverted and jewized
He told jews to stop jewing poorer jews you dumbass. Especially on jewish temples.
>A theist claims god exists outside the box
What if I think God IS the box. I mean God is just everything.
I do believe something or someone created everything, but i don't think it was the christian God and i don't think he cares about us.
I like the hindu idea of existence ending and restarting. The notion of a god that creates existence once, throw's most the people in hell for eternity, then just chills with the other's for eternity is kinda idiotic seeming. When I was ten. Now it's just tooth fairy shit.
Why would god care about ya, he created other people for that, cat's to give the illusion of such to feminazi's. I mean if ya got's billion of chilluns can't play favorites.
bump.

Cool! Don't browse Sup Forums too much at work man!
Well, you're right that it doesn't actually lead to Christianity, at most it will give you a personal God of the universe that is compatible with any Monotheistic faith. I could give more arguments for Christianity in specific then, but that would be too out of scope of what I was trying to say about why I thought it was a personal being (only way to get a finite effect from an infinite cause)
>His supposed brilliant claims are gibberish
You sound just like every other teenager on Youtube... Yes, the guy with a Doctorate, multiple PhD's and Master's degrees from the world's most prestigious universities, who has debated all of the leading Atheists including other intellectuals, as well as giving a lecture to physicists, is a complete idiot!
But you, you're a genius, you know better than him. Yes.
>Baseless gibberish
Again, not, philosophers have discussed these issues for many years and just because you're not aware of them doesn't make them gibberish.
>Heat death does not mean the end of existence
Fair enough, the point is that there was a beginning, and that the universe is not eternal, as proven by science
If you want to really understand these arguments, then let the man himself explain them to you, read this:
reasonablefaith.org
also don't forget to check out his debates on Youtube, he's swept the floor with all the Atheists. Well, except for Dawkins, because Dawkins refused to debate twice like the coward that he is :-)
I'm done now, it's almost 1 AM and I want to go to bed
>Atheism is the fastest shrinking religion in the world. Atheism is in decline worldwide, with the number of atheists falling from 4.5% of the world's population in 1970 to 2.0% in 2010 and projected to drop to 1.8% by 2020,
But I am not an atheist, I believe in a God, just not in the Christian Jewish God who walked over water etc.
Atheists are indeed miserable and very susceptible for degeneracy, thus their decline.
couldn't he also speak Greek or Latin? unless Pilate could speak jew
>don't /pol too much at work
Got bored of vidya games, I'll probably be here often til something else catches my interest. I'm a low paid clerk with very little restrictions of behavior. Aside from that cause-effect thing.
>The notion of a god that creates existence once, throw's most the people in hell for eternity,
I agree. The Christian God is a caricature of a human being. Going from extraordinarily kind and forgiving to so vengeful and spiteful that he'd damn you for all eternity. Christians like to say "oh he's beyond all comprehension", but I can say the same of a carrot but that doesn't make it true.
Jesus was a close to the Pharisees in theology, the Hasmonians were the ruling class authorities during that time, and if anyone killed him it was them. Just proves how bullshit the new testament is
yeah no shit, but he also point out the faith in gentile which the jews didn't have. jewing goes far beyond mundane shekel mongering.
even the heretic Samaritans were less jewy then the Jews
instead of changing the Jews just powered up their jewing powers even more. SSJ3 tier
probably looked Norwegian tbhfamalam
You made a claim that god is everything. Prove it.
You can't. Because the theist's assumption that god is real is impossible to prove.
BAHHAHAA! I thought that was Michael Impirioli
Jesus looked a lot like Bradley Cooper.
Why is there something rather than nothing?
What is your concept of infinity and eternity?
I believe in god. And his name is Mike.
I just believe. This is the point of religion, you don't have to prove anything. I'm not going to explain anything. Period.
Underrated
Jebus
>You sound just like every other teenager on Youtube
That's great. I don't watch e celebs so maybe you are right in thinking I sound like them. But regardless, that doesn't make your view any more legitimate.
>Yes, the guy with a Doctorate, multiple PhD's and Master's degrees from the world's most prestigious universities, who has debated all of the leading Atheists including other intellectuals, as well as giving a lecture to physicists, is a complete idiot!
I never said he was a complete idiot. You are attempting to strawman me

>and that the universe is not eternal
Like i said earlier:
>This isn't any more of argument for Christianity than it is for any other God
>If you want to really understand these arguments, then let the man himself explain them to you,
You think the reason I don't agree with you is because I don't understand. But this is not the case.
>he's swept the floor with all the Atheists. Well, except for Dawkins, because Dawkins refused to debate twice like the coward that he is :-)
Athiests and Dawkins do not speak for me, I'm not bound in anyway to what they say
...
I don't believe in nothing.
Space appears to be nothing, but is energy in it's potential state, apply consciousness and energy(virtual particles) appears from "nothing" and then goes back to "nothing"
> (OP)
>Jesus was anti-jew, which is why jewish authorities and founders of modern judaism (pharisees) bribed the Romans into killing him.
Every thread
The soul of DT was gone on that day
Jesus' entire ideology was more or less based around how fucking terrible kikes were.
It's a large part of the European hatred of Jews.
Then stop wasting your time on something that doesn't affect you.
We know that the universe exists, but it's impossible to prove any claim as to why. There are various thoughts on it, but none are proven. If you cannot prove your claims, they're false. Some claims are more credible than others. There's no actual logic in a claim of god, but there is in quantum mechanics because it's a literal physical phenomenon. It would suggest that things exist because they have to. If things didn't exist, there wouldn't be the concept of nothing either. Again, no proof of that, or god.
The concept of infinity is a mathematical one, not a theological one. Not sure what you mean. Our universe is finite. Eternity is just an infinite amount of time.
>stop wasting time
Um, that's what I'm on Sup Forums for tho...
Yeshua bar Yosef was a Yahwist Judean who spoke Aramaic. He's literally the opposite of a Jew.
In fact, Judaism didn't even arise until centuries after the appearance of Christ, having been created from the Talmud. In that four century bubble, there were merely the Pharisees - a crooked group of liars and Satan-worshiping usurers who Jesus loathed and accused them of everything from being simple deceivers to having literally come out of Hell.
Out of spite for Jesus and the religion He came from, they usurped the name "Juda" and called themselves Jews, trying to mar the true face of Yahwism and Christianity by claiming they're Judeans, when in reality they're Khazars.
Anyone you know who claims Jesus Christ is Jewish is either a useful idiot pushing the Jewish agenda or a Jew themselves.
And I thought physics said everything effects you, just not much.
There is no god and there really, really, really is no Yahweh.
I believe in the power of the mind.
If you do rituals you focus everything in you on that, in that moment you are with everything, the universe, the earth.
You change reality with it, like we do with meme magick.
I don't think its a god, i think it's just our highly complex brain that has hidden powers we do not yet understand, powers that are connected to ever dimension that exists.
For instance, monks in tibet can survive hours in freezing cold as -15c° celsius when meditating, they literally focus and control their body in controlling their temperature, they can also let their own hearth stop if they wan't.
The human body can also probably move objects and other weird shit.
Remember boys, WE are god, no one else but we are.
We are the universe that sees itself through us.
Before conscious life the universe didn't even knew that it existed.
Let that sink in for a moment.
>The human body
I meant mind fuck
