With all these CIA/NSA revelations and the ISPs to be selling my porn history in December I'd like to know how I can get away from all this "smart" technology.
Seems integrated into fucking everything. Ironically Apple, of all companies seems to be the only one offering some privacy at the expense of overprices chink shit. And don't laugh at me if you have a Windows machine with an Intel processor, it's been proven the NSA has a backdoor built into Win8 and 10, Intel owns your boipussy due to a built in chip operating below the OS.
Your gay little Prius you rented in order to get into Uber driving has a built in microphone sending data to DHS, the system can be hijacked and controlled remotely.
So what do we do? Use Raspberry Pi's as email machines and Nokia phones?
Sup Forums can hit you up with some good linux distros that are good at hiding stuff. I personally use Arch with a modded version of fire fox, but there are plenty of things you can do to prevent CIA niggers from hacking your shit, you just need to care enough to try and prevent it.

There is literally nothing you can do to 100% prevent the CIA from collecting your data. But you should also accept that unless you're a terrorist or distributing child porn you're probably too boring for them to bother looking at your shit, it just sits in a server farm.
Anthony Hall
Theres 7 billion people on earth why the fuck would anyone care about your stupid porn folder or how much weed you buy.. The only reason to be afraid of something like this is if youre doing something really illegal.. If so your a low life fag and deserve whats cumming
Parker Morgan
2bh I wouldn't worry about any of this unless you're a terrorist then you can get fucked desu senpai
Jacob Lopez
This is more of a best case scenario. China is doing similar. In the US it's likely to play out with limiting employment opportunities based on dna statistics and likelyhoods that you 'just may do something'. Precrime. Insurance coverage will likely be denied for example. If a foreign power takes over you may just be exterminated. Or that may just happen anyway or mistreatment from the medical profession. A somewhat recent example is the unconsented sterilizations of black people in hospitals.
The erosion of civil liberties is a slippery slope. A mistrust of one 'type of people' towards another is the gateway to it and then all are less safe as technology progresses.
Luis Miller
only libtards with something to hide need privacy. you got something your not telling trump?
Jaxon Ortiz

This. Checked. Praise kek.

I'm suspicious of its potential misuse too. It would be kind of creepy at the very least, but most people won't notice it anyway.
Ryan Evans
Faggot mentality that is so pussyfied I'm surprised it's not coming from a leaf.
You've got nothing to say at all times, so why not let them take away your freedom of speech too.
Don't be a pussy and let them steam roll this nation. Or maybe you're CTR, or troll. It's too hard to tell any more.
Carson Perez
Trying to score points with big brother with these faggot posts?

>This is the future. Total surveillance is already being taught to kids at a young age.
Why don't we just make our own technology companies? And not sell out to the giants.
We should also raise armies to kill the apple, google, microsoft employees if they try hostile takeovers.
Sort of like a crossover between a rogue criminal organization and a legit company. Privacy is our product we sell.
Ryan Turner
There's a bunch of open source stuff that is privacy oriented. The problem is the UI/UX design sucks, because geeks don't care about usability.
So if designers are willing to make open source products look good, they could take on the mega corps.

Doesn't matter if you changed ISPs at same address. Doesn't matter if you VPN and using i3/i5/i7/ Doesn't matter if using any hardware component traced back to your credit card goy. You are fingerprinted. Download what you can to an external or say fuck it and never run for anything they can use your history on. After all they are thespians and can create narratives when selectively choosing. The internet was an amazing leap in the human evolution but evil persists and evil is always first.

Stop being a degenerate and stop using the internet and technology. Bike to work and spend your time being productive instead of shitposting on a mongolian tax filing board.

Old lady in germany just got 10 months for saying death camps in ww2 Germany were really labor camps. You have no idea what can be used against you in the future. Nothing wrong with trying to limit your exposure you mongoloid.

Hahaha! What's this I hear about selling my porn history? Who's buying it?
"Well, Mr. user, I see here that you jerk off to everything but animals! Hahahaha! ....no, wait - here're some animals."
What are the implications of this?
What possible marketing edge could they gain with this information?
"You know what kind of customers we need? We need the kind that jacks off a lot. See if you can find one who prefers pregnant midgets sucking off purse-sized dogs, but then ruins it's small dog orgasm as an act of dominance, then puts on one of those cone collars to keep it from finishing the job itself and takes it on a walk that way for public humiliation. They're big spenders."
I hope they don't sell it to my parents. Christmas will be very uncomfortable.
Hunter Miller
That's a fallacy. The data collection, if it isn't used to incriminate you, is used to market you. It's not a joke that people have become 'merchandise' for advertisement and marketing. Your identity will be used as statistics, such as if you're white, you'll be part of the 'white' statistic whenever a policy or legislation needs context regardless of whether you agree with it. This goes on for income, location, orientation, affiliations, etc.
Statistic does not take into account personal experience, and that's what is so scary about being roped into mass surveillance and data collection. You are no longer represented by yourself as a individual character, but by your superficial modalities.

Your choice if you believe the 'vulnerabilities were fixed'. Feature not bug.

wouldn't the "history" just be "pornhub.com" and not certain vids?
Daniel Nelson
Hmm, thanks. Must confirm for myself though.
I've heard it also somehow lets them force cookies into your stream, either putting popups at you themselves (I've seen this done, I forget the context), or making it available to advertisers. So you're unavoidably trackable.
Ethan Miller
I honestly can't wait until insurance companies get hold of this information and start raising premiums for "risky browsing" so this shit trickles down to the normies.
I swear to God the average person is so retarded when it comes to personal privacy it just hurts. I can't even begin to fathom how cucked you have to be to actually ask others to DEFEND themselves when they say, "Sorry, I don't want to be monitored 24/7" as if this is some weird pathological behavior.
Too bad humanity is fucked and Orwell was right, etc.
Adam Miller
temple os pre 2005+ hardware >inb4 temple os fuck off cianigger, your probably one of the faggots responsible for terry being banned from youtube for a couple months

Yeah it doesn't legalize anything they can't do now actually, other than selling bulk anonymized data, same as Netflix and Google do.
It repeals a very long and twisted rule though, this regulation is precisely what Trump had in mind when he said he wanted to cut red tape.
Andrew Martin
>wouldn't the "history" just be "pornhub.com" and not certain vids? You poor naive soul. I don't get how people don't understand.

If you're using Windows go 7 and find out the updates to avoid. With older hardware use win2000 with extended kernel
As for my car 2005 Ford crown Vic (interceptor edition) no electronic shit other than the sound system and lights and stuff plus I can fix everything on this car myself it's super goddamn simple and its decently quick too ill keep this thing running forever

The average person will never understand an argument against mass data collection/surveillance. It'll always be, "But I've got nothing to hide! I'm not doing anything interesting!"
I didn't realize how dumb a person could be until I started arguing about privacy laws. They're literally arguing against their own interests, but that's not too surprising I guess for a country that basically wants to censor itself when it comes to free speech.
Joseph Baker
Looking at this ugly group always makes me sick
John Watson
OK, fine, but also (((they))) talk the same way. Ever been to one of the black forums on the internet? They are exactly like Sup Forums but from a black perspective. Shit we'd probably get along great, and it'd be exercising to argue with a bunch of woke blacks.
Jews talk the same way, Catholics do, Hindus do, if they try to break off and label one group they'll find that it's not viable. It's possible, sure, I mean TOR is blocked here, but what if they do it?
Just means some healthy portion of people really have no fucks to lose even in public. I don't think it's anything though, the cia/antifa might dox some folks but there will be consequences for that.
Ryder Edwards
its not like this is a new issue • always use 7 boxxys • always use something to beat browser fingerprinting problem solved
Andrew Hill
>use proxies! >even though your ISP will now directly sell your information
What's it like not to have a brain?
Aiden Long
The Trump story really shows the power just one piece of information has. Why do you think nearly every politician acts like they're controlled? They don't need to be a pedo just record them saying something slightly off and threaten to ruin their campaign.
Carson Gonzalez
So how do we develop and become our own internet? How can a group of users network their boxes to bypass an ISP? Is it even possible? Can we make a new internet that will let us still access anonymously the normie internet? Is it possible for a single user to be their own ISP?
Oliver Richardson
you know, i gave up the internet for eight whole months. That's a lot.
I have never been happier. I began reading books again, playing my SNES and PS2 (games for them are cheap af now) and watching baseball (which I never knew I enjoyed before) while it was in season. I got a couple of porno mags from some of the older guys at the restaurant I worked at so I had something to fap to besides my imagination. I returned them and got new ones when they grew old, it was like a porno library. They didn't care they had all adapted to the internet and their porno mags weren't in use.
There was no twitter/reddit bullshit liberalism to rage at, no Sup Forums to remind me how cucked my race was, no Google to kill my conversations with people and no Wikipedia to agitate my ADHD.
I used an old flip phone to call and text and that was it - no internet capabilities on it. Of course, when it finally broke and I went in for a new phone, surprise surprise all they had were smartphones. I got one, and instantly relapsed into my old habits. The internet is addictive - but you don't need it brothers. We did without it for millennia, we can do without it again.
tl;dr getting off the internet is the ultimate redpill
Ryan Stewart
Can't really do much about the porn. The only glimmer of a silver lining is that odds are high that by the time you'll actually have to worry about it, normies will have degenerated further and their fetishes will likely eclipse your own in debauchery.
As for everything else, trolling is one thing, but being duplicitous is always gonna bite you in the ass, eventually. Don't be duplicitous.
I'm willing to bet that at least 60% of the male population that is above the age of 27 now has at least once, faked being a chat room slut to fuck with some poor jackass before.
If we can get some honest analysts involved somehow, then we can get more people to see that certain behaviors online really aren't that special of a phenomena and that the reality is that they are freaking crybabies.
Without honest analysts being involved, we may be looking at a worldwide shoah if something trolltrace does become a reality. Refer to the Illuminati Card Game New World Order Political Correctness card.

this, this so much - but how? for example I want to buy classical music cds, and only amazon has them cheap af

I have a few suggestions if you want super-paranoia with the tech still around:
Bunnie's open source novena laptop (FPGA based laptop that's based as much on open hardware as possible, no management engine)
It's a lot beefier than a Pi, which also has all that shit because it's literally a roku chip.
That said, if you're online you're still screwed, and it's highly likely every open source OS is screwed as well.
AMD also has a management engine, FWIW.
If you want freedom, unplug the ethernet, unplug the wifi card (it's detachable in 99% of laptops) and use your compy off-grid. If you're really paranoid you're being targeted, disable all speakers and mikes mechanically.
If you're being v&, though, they'll bring the tech to you.
Samuel Turner
People don't value privacy. People are lemmings. 90% of people are followers, not leaders.
Christopher Butler
also - I'm planning this since so long but, still, while I see how I could limit my use of internet quite easily (40 minutes at day let's say) I really can't understand how I am suppose to do without it for certain thing (buy books, play chess etc.)
Xavier Adams
>disable all speakers
Speakers? How the fuck is that compromised?
Xavier Ortiz
either set a date for unplugging it all and stock up on shit before then or resign yourself to spending more money on actually buying from brick-and-mortar stores
you also save a lot of money when you cut out a dataplan for a phone and an internet bill for your dwelling. here in the states it was like fifteen dollars a month for unlimited call/text on my little flip phone.
thats why i did it in the first place, to save money. you can do it too my friend, its hard at first but prepare other distractions for yourself and it becomes so empowering. we think the internet makes us free, but in reality it enslaves us. we spend all our life on these machines connected to it now, always trading bits and pieces of our lives for stupid memes, porn, and lulzy videos. it isn't worth it.
go out and just walk, go shoot a gun, learn a hobby like archery or guitar, do SOMETHING other than sitting here slouched over staring at a screen.
Juan Moore
what can they know if I'm not online?
Adam Fisher
>mfw they buy my internet history and is ALL Sup Forums.
Christian Edwards
>Seems integrated into fucking everything.
It's not:
1. Install Gentoo and only use FOSS software. Use a VPN. 2. do as much communication as possible through the mail, using email only for things that are strictly necessary 3. trade your smartphone for a regular cell. Keep it locked into your dresser drawer and only make calls at 4pm every day. 4. don't do online banking, online shopping, online anything etc. 5. rip out your car's entertainment system, especially if it's a GM brand with Onstar. Or better yet, just buy a fleet vehicle instead. Rip out the vehicle antenna, if you're so paranoid.
Ryder Martinez
Its evolution baby
Henry Flores
go to a library or a bookstore for books. look around your community for chess clubs, or find a different social game like cards or D&D or something. hang out with your family more. volunteer with some old people, they can probably play chess or cards and can regale you with stories that are probably way more interesting than anything on your stupid facebook feed
like i said we entertained ourselves without the internet for years and years, we DO NOT NEED IT. it is addictive, very addictive, all this information at your fingertips... but too much of anything is bad, and I seriously believe it drives up instances of mental illness and overall neuroticism in our society.
just try it for a while, give it up for a month, maybe two. you won't die. if you decide you really cant live without it then go back. But you just might find out what i did - that it is holding you back.
Parker Ward
Who's Terry and why does he sound like a paranoidfag?

basically my internet is emails (uni), amazon, chess and Sup Forums - no social shit btw thanks for your answers I really appreciate

They got us addicted user. It's all part of the big picture
Parker Wilson
It is. Speakers output high-frequency sound as a data-stream as part of government hacking. There was a leak about it. "Hacking the aether" or something like that.
They can track you through secondary sources, USB devices can ferry information, trackers in your phone can locate you, cameras can identify your face from a 8x8 pixel image with ~70% accuracy, etc. You do the math. They can find you.
William Allen
He's a legit schizo autist genius programmer wizard. Thinks god talks to him, told him to write an OS in assembly.

I really hate internet - please send me back to 16th century, please
You don't understand how our words are used against us now. Go back to castrating reindeer with your teeth you fuckwit son of a russian.

Totally doable, just move to the middle east. There the government establishes a presence traditionally, via military force and savage massacre.
Pretty cool stuff. Imagine if they used it to make wireless internet better for the public. But no, we can only have 1% of the bandwidth so they can send uncompressed 4k 60Hz drone bombing imagery.

no way, I'm not going to leave my fatherland - ever

None of that matters if you have hardware from 2005+.
Your hardware is backdoored. Even if you got a secure OS, all the right extensions for the web and constantly deleted your data, there's still a backdoor in the CPU and motherboard that sends them everything you do.
