Remember kids, always kill communists no matter what, use their bodies as fuel

I had no idea there were this many communist countries. Out of all these, only Cuba is still communist, right?

Technically so are Vietnam and China, but those two are only commies in name

And China, Vietnam, North Korea, and Laos. Venezuela is socialist as well.

>China

Free markets

>Vietnam

Free markets

>North Korea

Monarchy

>Laos

>The economy of the Lao Peoples' Democratic Republic is rapidly growing, as the government began to decentralize control and encourage private enterprise in 1986.[4] Currently, Laos ranks amongst the fastest growing economies in the world, averaging 8% a year in GDP growth.[5] It is also forecasted that Laos will sustain at least 7% growth through 2019 as well.[6]

Authoritarian socialism isn't the same as Libertarian socialism. youtube.com/watch?v=PhkXpdD8aVw&t=120s

Can't wait for libertarian socialism then. Any day now.

Quick rundown on communism for a commu-noob?

>Albania
>100,000
>Cuba
>70,000
>Romania
>435,000
>Yugoslavia
>1,072,000
>Vietnam
>1,670,000
>RSFSR
>3,284,000
>USSR
>58,627,000
>China
>73,237,000
>DDR
>70,000
>Czechoslovakia
>65,000
>Hungary
>27,000
>Poland
>22,000
Where the fuck did he get these numbers? Reports by less ideological sources and groups like Amnesty International give numbers that are a fraction of that. Albania killed like 5,000 over the course of 40 years.

Ideal version - everyone equal say equal share, no hierarchy, no exploitation
Real version - you are a slave to the government

Idealized communism is:

>There is a revolution
>Dictatorship of the proletariat/socialist state
>Eventually the state withers away and what remains is a classless, moneyless society

No communist country has ever made it past the word "dictatorship." What I find most hilarious is that IRL, the leaders of communism betray its principles. Stalin gave contracts to the Ford Motor Company to industrialize Russia and allowed the Eastern Orthodox Church to exist even though communism is supposed to be strictly atheist.

The only "communist" countries that have survived have opened themselves to the free market. Meanwhile, North Korea is a monarchist state, which is worse than capitalism in commie-thought.

The only exception is Cuba, and while its health care and education are good for a country of its size, there are dozens of free market countries that are doing better on both.

Starve Yourself

>Cuba
>health care and education are good

So this is what americans actually believe?

I guess. Are they not? If so, that just proves that communism has even less things going for it.

Did you even look at the image you fucking poltard?

>So this is what americans actually believe?
Yep. Some do.

From what I've read, Cuba is a rather poor country, and the healthcare system there has periodic shortages of certain medicines. However, especially considering how other poor countries do, Cuba is doing rather well in most areas. They have one of the highest doctor-to-patient ratios in the world, and their physicians are sought the world over. They eliminated mother-to-child transmission of HIV, and they're the only country in Latin America to have eliminated child malnutrition.

Haha, basically this.

Cuba is a terrible country, but out of all the socialist countries it is the least terrible, so it is the communist standard for success.

It's actually not bad compared to the average living conditions in other Latin American countries like Haiti or Colombia.

Latin America isn't really all that known for its economic freedom, in fact Brazil ranks worse than even China in that regard. I'll admit that Cuba did okay with the system it chose, it's atypical for a socialist nation to not be an absolute hellhole, but it still would be far better if it rejected communism.
