The last two years made it more than clear that this fucking country is BENT on self-destruction. It feels like living in a jonestown suicide cult and there is nothing you can do against it. 90% of people are brainwashed to a degree the gravity of which I only started to realize in the last 2 years. Before that I assumed people were just disinterested or missinformed. But it's even more sinister than that. Most ethnic germans are only german in DNA and legal terms, not culturally.
It feels like I'm trapped in the belly of a dying machine. I have no idea what to do.

Oh man no, its horrible here. I think it must be worse than Germany, because there is no alternative party at all here. Theres super-left, very-left, and left. Anyone right of "left" is called a fascist. The entire populace is on a self destruction course. Like you said, the majority of people here are genetically Spanish but they are not culturally Spanish. In fact, their greatest desire is to destroy anything that resembles Spanish culture.
