Why are eggs so cheap?
Even here in Jew York City, I can procure a dozen large eggs for a little over a dollar. I grew up in the Southern US and never recall eggs being so cheap. I've been getting them at this price here for over 2 years. They're also (((cage free))) and (((organic))).

Raising chickens at home seems to be the big thing right now for rural and suburban retards. I saw a display at a shopping mall a few weeks ago where you can actually rent chickens, and the coop and feed is provided.

agricultural subsidies have suppressed artificially the price of sundries such as meat and eggs in the United States for decades. Look at prices in Europe for an example – your tax dollars are what keep eggs so cheap.

It depends on where you are, burgers and nips remove the casing so that they need to be chilled whilst everybody else just leaves the casing on and leaves them room temp, they both are as effective as each other but I refrigerate my eggs even though they have the coating on them.

It's the same reason I'm able to get chicken breast for the lowest prices I've seen since ~2002. It all comes down to how much money is spent growing crops (water and oil), transporting crops to feed the chickens (oil), and transporting the eggs to the market (oil).

Anyway, I get a dozen extra-large double yolk eggs for .89 cents. My neighbor owns chickens and i pay him $5 total for two dozen regular brown eggs and a dozen banty(?) eggs, they're little tiny eggs from a special kind of chicken.
