He's good for an LA comic. The difference between LA and NY is that LA comics tend to be personalities and NY comics tend to be writers. My tastes tend to prefer NY style more, but obviously only the not SJW faggots. Keep an eye on Kurt Metzger. He's a damn funny comic, and has some good jokes about kebab.

He's one of the few comedians I think I could have a conversation with on politics, find some things we agree with and things we disagree on without it ending with him spastically screaming a bunch of buzzwords at me. I don't really like comedians who talk about politics though because most of them aren't very politically knowledgeable. People confuse their ability to ridicule something as having prowess on the subject. Atheists can run Christianity into the ground by making fun of it but you put them in a debate with a person who studies Christianity, the philosophy, and its arguments and they look like children. It's like that time Jim Jeffries was on Bill Mahr's show and his only response to the claim that trump isn't literally hitler was to scream "oh fuck off fuck off fuck off!".

He's very fair in his opinions and I feel like I could bullshit with him over a beer. Not gonna lie though, I feel like his older material was better.. Before he had a wife and a kid on the way. Now I hope he doesn't just start to fall into the typical "oh my kid did the funniest thing!" type of humor.

Most artists fail because as they age they lose touch with the subject matter and audience that first brought them fame. Very few develop a craft which is timeless and not merely a reflection of their current state of mind.

Great guy, kinda cringy a little bit recently since his daughter was born because he's been saying some SJW buzzwords/phrases rarely ("HOW CAN I WHITE GUY EVEN COMPLAIN?"). Other than that, great comedian who is seems to be aware of his intellectual limits yet has accrued a good amount of wisdom. One of my top three favorite comedians (top living), his last special was a sorta bland compared to his black and white one (but that gorilla bit was fucking hilarious). I don't blame him though, all his specials before the last one kept getting better and better so that Black & White one was really hard to beat.
