/sg/ is absolutely the lowest class of Sup Forums threads I've ever seen, and I've been here before they were even a thing.
Just the worst, shittiest posters, half of which are just very blatant Russia/Assad shills, confined in a single thread spamming the shittiest memes I've ever seen, almost reddit tier. In fact probably below Reddit tier.
I'm glad you idiots stay in one topic, even though occasionally like a lobotomite escaping the asylum, one of you ventures out and shitposts in other threads. But you're easy to spot, so that helps. Anyone with enough experience on this board can tell a clearly pro-Assad/Russian cocksucker from a normal poster.
In a way I came into this thread the same reason I would marvel at a broken-down toilet that keeps plugging out rolls of shit. It's amazing how you faggots keep posting here. Why don't you just start your own IRC group or something? You are the worst type of cancer on this board.

How possible is Euphrates Sword happening? I'm convinced it's close to zero tbqh, but I can't imagine better way of shortening the war than taking Manbij & Afrin. Also YPG started to advance on A'zaz, maybe it won't trigger TAF, but Jihadis there could counter-attack escalating, your thoughts?

/SG/ should be banned.
A typical /sg/ thread consists of:
100 comments on how they'd like to suck Assad's dick
100 comments on how they'd like to get fucked in the ass by Suheil
and 100 comments on how Shias are superior to Sunnis and how much they love sucking Iranian cock.
There is 0 discussion about Syria, only about how brave Russia are and how gay and lonely they all are.
It is a complete waste of space and bandwidth on Sup Forums's servers.
It clutters Sup Forums too and they contribute nothing valuable (their shitty memes don't count).
It should be deleted for good or moved to a /polg/ like and

What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Republican Guard, and I’ve been involved in numerous secret raids on ISIS, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire 104th mechanized. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you the fuck out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my fucking words. You think you can get away with saying that shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my secret mukhabarat sleeper cells and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of rusty soviet weapons and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your miserable ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your fucking tongue. But you couldn’t, you didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit fury all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.

time to update OP and post news to move from this jidf tries to shit on us thing...
One thing though....look at what russian bro said and he is up to something
He has a good point. Lets analize what happend...
Israel takes a more active role in syria... here comes jidf to shill on /pol and set the standard mind set for people in her... but what do they find?
Sup Forums has been educated by /sg/ on Syria, users had a somewhat knowledge of syria then the average users in other sites...
Or when they tried to make threads that give you the feeling of a constructive discussion is being made, a "quality" thread where the OP pretends to be new to the subject discussed and end's his post on a clif hanger, a sort of sentence that ends in a " ? " from where people speak honest on what they think about that subject not knowing that the replies will be made to set the mindset and the way the thread will go on... when they do this in Sup Forums either people are more educated or they send them to /sg/ ... and in /sg/ they find the troll meat grinder where they can't change shit because we have the most dedicated users for whom this thread is more then just some shitty Sup Forums thread... our posters are united by their love for geo-politics...and support for Assad... this is something normies are not interested in.. never will...You learn a lot in here and get to spend comfy time with likeminded people....

But generally possibility of this operation happening is really low, there are too many factors that make it impossible. >NATO Articles no 5 & no 6 >Tons of western SOF/regulars riddled with SDF >Western Manbij flank manned by SAA >TAF didn't fight in a long time and it's a risky operation >SDF/YPG has a lot of ATGMs by now, reducing the possibility of fast and relatively bloodless advance >Russia wouldn't be happy too because it would interupt Astana peace talks I want it to happen, but I can't convince myself that it will.

They won't push too far, I guess Souran would be recaptured in some time, but Tal al-Imam won't fall, Idleb has a lot of manpower reserves, while SAA has different priorities than wage a full-scale offensive on rebel strongholds now.
Hudson Sanders
>There's 2 kinds of Assad supporters >those who want a strong and peaceful Syria, >and those who root for him to kill as many Arabs as possible.

Caleb Moore
Nah, I personally don't think so, IS is on retreat, and SDF is advancing, so Ithriyah, Salamiyah, western Aleppo fronts are much more important now. Goal of SAA should be pushing rebels back to Souran (pre-offensive frontlines) and trying to keep it, while relocating strategical assault units to other fronts. Don't worry, time for Idleb will come, but it hasn't yet.

NATO, Russia, share troop information, at odds over Ukraine NATO’s chief says the allies and Russia remain at loggerheads over the conflict in Ukraine but have exchanged briefings on their troop movements elsewhere in Europe to help ease tensions. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg’s remarks came after ambassadors from the military alliance’s 29 nations met Thursday for the first time this year. Russia briefed the ambassadors about new troop deployments near its western border, while NATO gave an update on forces being deployed to the Baltic states and Poland. (AP)

Germany deporting more ‘potential attackers’ after Berlin incident Germany has deported 10 potential attackers since January as part of a tougher approach towards failed asylum seekers after one of them killed 12 people in an attack on a Berlin Christmas market, security sources said on Thursday. Shortly after the incident, German’s Joint Terrorism Prevention Center (GTAZ), reviewed the open cases of “potential attackers,” the sources said. Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere and other top officials have been pushing for quicker deportations of those denied asylum, while working with Morocco, Tunisia and other countries to speed up the repatriation process. Number of Syrian refugees tops 5mn mark – UNHCR The number of Syrians who have fled their country after six years of war has surpassed the 5 million mark, the UN refugee agency said Thursday. UNHCR announced the milestone a year after participating countries at a Geneva conference pledged to “resettle and facilitate pathways for 500,000 refugees” from Syria - but that only half of those places have been allocated so far. “We still have a long road to travel in expanding resettlement and the number and range of complementary pathways available for refugees,” said UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi. Agency spokesman Babar Baloch said that no specific incident prompted the crossing of the symbolic milestone, and that one year ago, the figure was 4.8 million. The agency estimates another 6.3 million people have been internally displaced. (AP)

I thought they stopped being a terrorist organization, and more like a protection against Israel, with christians and shias in the mix. The issue is that they keep arming hamas
Brody Hill
Well that's the position SAA is in, by all accounts. Hezzies act superior and nobody really wants them in Syria. A non state army is such an oddity too, they are really an unusual organization. Only the shi'i in Lebanon support them. If they stay in Lebanon though, who cares? I'm generally against guerrilla tactics because of their futility and collateral damage, (see: Syria) but Israel is not the sovereign ruler of south Lebanon and Hezbollah is not so illegitimate compared to them. Israel must defeat Hezbollah conclusively if they want respect.
If war with Israel comes again, Syria will be glad to have Hezbollah.

Vietnam labels Taiwan drills on disputed island ‘serious violation’ Vietnam on Thursday denounced Taiwan’s military drills on and around a disputed South China Sea island. Taiwan’s coast guard said that the live-fire drills around Itu Aba were routine. The scheduled drills began on Wednesday and end on Friday. Vietnamese Foreign Ministry spokesman Le Hai Binh said the drills were “a serious violation of Vietnam’s sovereignty over the [Spratly] archipelago, threatening peace, stability, and maritime safety and security, stressing and complicating the situation in the East Sea [South China Sea].” Vietnam resolutely opposes the drills and “asks Taiwan to not repeat similar actions,” Binh said.
