Not to dismiss meme magic altogether, the "highly scientific polls" were obviously skewed to try to create a predetermined outcome. If they say over and over, "Hillary has a 99.99 percent chance of winning" their hope was republicans would give up and stay home. So, yeah, you're right. The polls were shit. It should be illegal to publish opinion polls.
