It's not that important who is paying for the bots or shills. The only reason those threads get 250+ replies is because of the cancerous redditors who reply to them. We still got the some of the threads in /mlpol/, but the difference was they didn't get bumped because the redditors were all scared off by the horse porn.

No, what became obvious wasn't how many "shills" there was.
What became obvious was that there was never any shills. It was just Sup Forums baiting itself. When Sup Forums got combined with a community that doesn't predictably reply to the same posts we have every day with the same shitty stale memes, and the same preaching to the choir shitty replies, the "shills" stop.
They're just baitposters. /mlpol/ didn't reveal we had shills. /mlpol/ revealed the only reason the "shills" exist is the people replying with "SHARIABLUE, LOL UR A SHILL, THIS IS A SLIDE THREAD" to the most low effort bait imaginable.

You can use regex with 4chanX filter. It also hides stubs of threads (you don't even know they are hidden that way), and recursively filters (hides posts that replied to hidden posts).
Then maybe you should return to reddit.
It's literally the same threads over and over though. I mean who would fall for the same bait every day? Gotta be just extreme newness, plus trolls/bots/whatever replying to each other.
