He was in recon I believe, which meant behind enemy lines armoured reconnaissance.
He signed up somewhere around 1940, just in time for Operation Barbarossa.
He was a private when he saw his first glimpse of combat, a small skirmish in some Russian village. His helmet was damaged from a bullet.

Said he actually went to Buchenwald as saw no such genocides or cruelties happening.
Of course he didn't.... Nazis always say "Ja, I know nothing!"
Evan Martin
Ask him about the physical training they did. Two reasons: 1) We may need it soon and it was apparently pretty good, considering the Nazis even fucked up Gurkhas in melee. 2) The books were either stolen (by the Russians, who consequently modelled their sports science after the Nazi methods) or destroyed (by the Anglos). Either way, such info would be invaluable nowadays.
1 set of low reps (4-6 iirc), with many different exercises.
Jason Hughes
He then fought at Kursk sometime afterward, he had received a wound badge after a tank shot exploded a few meters behind him, small rocks acted like shrapnel and tore at his back.
The Germans where now retreating. So he then was moved to Northern France.
Tyler Turner
>armoured reconnaissance
That's pretty cool, did he say which vehicle they used?
Robert Cook
Get him on tape you Brit nigger
Blake Anderson
Give him some money so that he writes down "his story" for future generations. We need this now before they all die.
Colton Gomez
I don't remember, perhaps SdKfz 231.
Carter Brooks
>Get him on tape.
You do realise they could arrest him for life.
Justin Bell
kys op lonely bitch.
Nolan Brooks
That's why you release stuff like this after the person is dead...
Eli Wright
This, get it on tape you retard, the old man will pass but the video will not, learn everything you can and document everything, future generations will thank you.
Tyler Scott
Or blur out the face or just keep the audio
Angel Harris
He was then transferred from recon to some sort of panzer grenadier unit, in response to Operation Overlord he fought against the incoming American tanks.
Oliver Hill
PLEASE READ OR THIS INFO MAY BE LOST FOREVER.
Unless someone got the H.dV. 475, but no one apprently does. It's the Heeresdienstverordnung (army regulations) for physical education.
Jack Bell
Why not just record his voice then?
Anthony Parker
Fine, I might decide to WRITE IT DOWN instead of actually record him, for obvious reasons.
Caleb King
Did he say why he came here post war?
David Foster
God speed my German brother, I hope we both get to hear of this most precious information.
Adrian Taylor
So fucking lucky. Are you the only one who knows?
Andrew Sanchez
He has quite an amazing way of escape.
He fought in the Battle of the Bulge, and after the battle Das Reich was ordered to hand itself over to the Americans.
But this man decided to run, to retreat, to fight somewhere else rather then surrender.
He ended up in Germany, and fought with some Volkssturm, he fought somewhere in northern Germany until he finally fled to Sweden and then here.
Grayson Howard
>arrest him for life How long does he have left anyway. Record him, then sell the footage when he dies
Zachary Gutierrez
I am actually thinking of writing a NatSoc book about how Hitler wanted nothing but the benefit for Europe.
I have never got to writing it, so maybe I will make a sort of mini-interview for this book, who knows.
Oliver Lewis
Next time you visit him, take some pics of his stuff and share. Living nazi stories are right up our alley. Also reference this thread when you make a new post

An actual recorded interview would be very insightful, especially as more and more German soldiers who fought in the world war pass away.
Written logs of interview type questions spaced with him reciting memories would be very interesting and could probably find space as a published work.
Although it is perhaps better to publish such work after the person passes away, for obvious reasons.
You should definitely strongly consider this. Once these people are dead and gone, their perspective and stories are also lost.
Cooper Gomez
I don't think the man would like that, tell you what, I will write down a interview and post it tomorrow.
Ayden Powell
Yes, I heard 200 SS volunteers live here.
Noah Allen
Reminds me of my granddad.
He always seemed a bit distant and lonely. He never liked to talk about his past, but I still remember when he said something along the lines of "Something went terribly wrong back then, the world isn't right. Everything after the war felt like a dream"
Dominic Barnes
Did your granddad serve in the Wehrmacht/SS?
Caleb Bell
> I will write down a interview and post it tomorrow
Anything is better than nothing.
It is just sad to know stories that were never told will vanish, but I understand why most soldiers prefer not to speak about their experiences openly.
How did he end up in the UK?

M8, please ask him about the Physical Education. It's important.

>He isn't in his own country that he fought for, enjoying the rest of his old life
Have you ever asked him what he thinks of present day Germany?
Jayden Carter
Make sure you protect his ID if you post his stuff, don't post anything like scenery of his home or footage of his home... >Listen to user dont release till deceased. Try to acquire him some more acquaintances perhaps... Greets.
Aiden Perez
>I understand why most soldiers prefer not to speak about their experiences openly.
Because they most likely would become social outcasts where even their own family would say try to have as little as possible to do with the old folks.
Caleb Cooper
I already said, but he went to neutral Sweden and then to Britain.
Apparently he helped out with the British Movement, but then he stopped out of fear that he would be found out.
Angel Walker
Wehrmacht I believe
Jaxson Wilson
don't jews still hunt them to make them pay fees or something?
Asher Howard
Yes I have he told me that and I quote "This is not the Germany that any of our ancestors would of fought for."
He said it with quite emotion as well, he really is disgusted by modern Europe and that it "Only reignites the fire that was in my heart as a young man"
Jack Carter
Yes, a Ukrainian SS member was found in your country I believe.
Ian Barnes
You should translate it, then publish it. I'd buy it.
Jack Rivera
Yes it is even more understandable regarding soldiers that fought for the Axis forces. Especially when groups still actively hunt them, with the intent of dragging them in courts for prosecution and humiliation.
I know you mentioned it in another post, I was just enquiring to see if you had any other details. Cheers anyway, interesting stuff.
Jeremiah Jones
i'd first have to buy it on ebay, which is not a good idea in germany today.
Angel Hughes
Would there be any way to publish it anonymously in the US, but still be able to collect the royalties?
Brandon King
Is he still a national socialist?
Nathan Jones
>Other details.
Well, whilst at Sweden he found a man who served in the Wiking division, they bought a boat, sailed to England and created false aliases. Don't know what happened to the Wiking dude, he's probably dead.
Andrew Kelly
Most certainly, he has a copy of Mein Kampf that he kept when he joined and several Nazi flags hung up in places.
Lucas Jackson
You should try to get written into his will. If he dies the authorities might just trash all his cool shit.
James Fisher
>His will.
I guess he will give his stuff to me, since I am the only one who talks to him.
Poor man.
Caleb Reyes
There's a weird thing about the ukrainian SS Galician division being allowed to settle in the UK immediately post war
About once a week, because he has so many stories to tell, and because I have stories to tell him, and because he wants to see me all the time because he's never seen a National Socialist since the fucking 40's.
Robert Scott
damn this guy sounds so based
Chase Parker
>Would there be any way to publish it anonymously in the US, but still be able to collect the royalties? I don't know. I don't even know if there's still a copyright on this stuff. Those books seem to be valubale, since most stuff either got destryoed by the Brits and Americans or stolen by the Russians.
It's really interesting for me and of course, it's interesting from a standpoint of un-degenerating people by physical exercise. But almost nothing is known about it anymore.
Eli Powell
How did you meet up?

Please please please record him talking about his experiences. Soon there will be no more Wehrmacht soldiers/SS officers left, and history will be lost forever.

I was settling in in my new house, and checking around the neighbourhood, talking to people across the streets, saying hello.
Then I came across this guys house, he opened the door and I heard he had a German accent, he also had a ring with the Totenkopf on it.
I remember saying "Is that a Totenkopf ring" and then a very long conversation began.
I went inside, had a cup of tea and we discussed the Waffen SS, and then he randomly said "I was in the division Das Reich" and since then we have become friends.
Jeremiah Clark

I hope you inherit all of his memorabilia.
Asher Young
Does he have any family
Liam Morgan
He has a huge amount of memorabilia, he collected stuff from 1940 to 1945 just picking stuff up along his military career.
He has stones with the words "FRANCE" "UKRAINE" "RUSSIA" "GERMANY" "SWEDEN" and he has pictures of him when he was in the Hitler Youth.
Kayden Adams
Not that I know of, like I said he escaped Germany before the war ended, for all he knows they might of all died.
He married just before he joined too...

Wyatt Wood
That is awesome man. If he wills all of it to you, make sure you preserve everything as best as you can. It's a part of history that (((they))) are doing everything they can to destroy.
Jackson King
>He married just before he joined too...
fuck
Just imagine, he could have faimly somewhere here and nobody would be aware
Samuel Smith
That's sad, hopefully his wife wasn't in territory taken by the Russians. I'm glad that his story has been passed on to you.
Landon Carter
You are very fortunate to know him.
Just to hear the stories and the history from his point of view would be incredible. I'm not a full blown Nat Soc, but I feel if I talked to him for a few hours or more, I would come out of there being full blown. There is a reason (((they))) are hunting down such people, dragging them into public view, and humiliating them. (((They))) know that if there were given a chance to speak, to tell their side, so many people would side with them or at least let them go and live their life freely and we cannot have that, can we?
Elijah Foster
I asked him if he ever planned to remarry and he said something along the lines of.
"I do not wish to, because I believe that somewhere in Germany my children and grandchildren live, and that makes me happy."
Hunter Gutierrez
Fucking this'ing this again
We're talking about drills and techniques we would lose forever and undeniably crafted fit warriors. Aryan supremacy memes aside we could find ourselves very grateful for that in the inevitable unrests coming to our land
Carson Martinez
Don't worry I am sure that I will ask him next time I see him.
Julian Taylor
I pray that they are not you typical modern brainwashed ""germans""
Justin Robinson
God I hope not.
That would be terrible.
Michael Flores
Yes, it's surprising there's not much interest in this. We're talking about the absolute basis of the German war machine, and coincidentally, said basis was literally designed to un-cuck the populace .
Gabriel Brown
Can you give an estimate of how many modern ""Germans"" there are? I've seen people on YouTube asking Germans what they think of Merkel, and they either don't answer or are very selective with their words, which is pretty weird since I've always heard that Germans are blunt.
Joshua Jenkins
Thank you very much mate.
Josiah Taylor
Is there any more info on this?
Liam Torres
Is there anything that he doesn't like about Hitler, or something he disagrees with him?
Colton Watson
Have you talked with him about Jews continuing to destroy the world?
Anthony Jackson
>which is pretty weird since I've always heard that Germans are blunt. You can now go to jail for stuff like that. Or pay a load of money. It reduces the bluntness a lot.
Yeah im /r/ more info on this. I speak German (Volksdeutscher) if you have sources in that too.
Brayden Rivera
Nope, only that he lost. He believes the Holocaust was a lie created by Jews to make white people feel quilt and to stop National Socialism rising again.
Matthew Brown
I made another thread here There's also a pdf flying around, in which modern sport scientists review the rough specs for the Wehrmacht exercises, but they sound really weird (15-20 reps, 2-3 sets, but only 20-30% of your 1 rep max, fast exercises with as big of ROM as possible + ballistic stretching). It's not really useful without the original book.
I remember him telling me last week about his experiences in the Hitler Youth.
Luke Rodriguez
Don't call him a 'lad' you fucking moron. You stupid fucking shithead. Have some respect, you god awful fucking idiot.
..calling someone of that generation 'lad'..
That's like a white southerner circa 1930 calling a black man 'boy'. Do you really think that's where you stand in relation to him, you motherfucking shithead dumbass?
