No I understand that the russians have been a major economic and millitary powerhouse for centuries. I also understand the whole corruption thing, major issue. But still, I wouldn't want to see a new cold/hot-war between the west and russia + most likely China. Keeping Russia down economically and militarily is one strategy, but the fact that they are now drawing ever closer to china (again) does to me not seem like a great thing.
