You can't say one company is allowed to sell data, like jewgle and kikebook, but than tell another company that they can't because reasons. They should have never allowed it in the first place. Now, the problem I have is that there aren't usually options for ISP's, which would be a good business opportunity for one to open up with "We never sell your information". Unfortunately it's not so easy.

If you're so upset about the bill being signed, perhaps you would realize that it only affects ISP's. If you were truly for privacy you would now demand a new bill that also mandates compliance from the most nefarious offenders (IE: Google, FaceBook, etc.)

Perhaps now we might see new legislation that achieves that. This could be some 3d chess but either way, if you honestly think you have any form of privacy, you're sadly mistaken.
