Basically. I ride the 4 train occasionally when I go to Yankees stadium which goes into the Bronx and you see the worst of humanity on these trains.

But I know for a FACT that I would've gone and helped that lady out. there's no decision about that that's difficult for me.

Also to note, when something obstructs the train, even less than this the conductor knows and has to open and close the door till it's fixed. Most common is someone will have a bag that blocks it slightly. This means whoever was the conductor shut the doors and said fuck it and walked away because he does have an indicator that would say something is wrong. But again thanks to unions he won't lose his job.

Sadly true. Had an old lady pull some shady driving maneuvers to push me into an "accident" with her (wasn't even enough to scratch paint). I went to her vehicle to ask if she was ok and by the time I walked the 10 feet to get there she was already on the phone shrieking about her "pain" to 911 and the police.
