half the reason you're even on the internet right now is because of porn. Do you like buying things online? You can thank porn for that. How about the film industry in general? A big part of why it even became successful was because people could watch girls get naked. Porn also helped standardize Closed Captioning. 8mm, VHS, Blu-ray, and now VR are very much driven by accessibility to porn. Whether you like it or not, porn has led to some revolutionary stuff in the tech industry and the world in general. Better wireless tech comes to mind for recent examples. Porn is very beneficial.

2D is very limited in what you can do with it, although if you are watching porn on a screen, it is technically 2D... which would mean that unless you are actually at the studio, all porn is 2D. If you're talking about pictures though, video is more engaging than photo. I work in Air Force Public Affairs and time after time, video is vastly more successful than even the best photos, especially when it comes to social media.

Man I wish they'd stop even trying to make them look realistic (good luck ever getting rid of that uncanny valley effect) and go for the anime look.
