Don't underestimate what tens of billions of dollars of positive media coverage (media owned by your people, of course) can do.
Israel is already way, way, way behind Kushner: Netanyahu, Murdoch, Rothschild, many more.
And he's currently placed to be seen - for either 4 or 8 years - as Trump's boy wonder, taking credit for as many successes as can be plausibly (or implausibly) given to him.
My guess is he'll be sent to broker "peace" between Israel and the displaced and imprisoned Palestinians. The Palestinians have no leverage, so they'll have to take whatever assfucking they're given. The Israelis, however, being in on the scam, will finally agree to a "peace plan," knowing that whatever trivial concessions they make will be more than compensated for by having one of their own as President.
Then Kushner will be able to be branded as "He brought peace to the Middle East!" and that shining Biblical success will outweigh his Jewishness and allegiance to Israel and he'll be swept into office.
In 2024 he'll be 44 years old. That's just about how old JFK was when his daddy finally got him the Presidency.
