I wasn't sent from /fit/ nor am i shilling, but to help make youself feel better and raise your self esteem. All you gotta do is.
10x normal pushups.
5x triangle pushups (form a triangle between the gaps of your hands, works your other muscle in your arm)
5x wide range pushups (separate your hands 1metre/3.feet apart)
You surely cannot be lazy in the 24 hours of a day to just dedicate 5 minutes of your time to make yourself feel stronger.
As well, this is now basic training for WW3.

5 mins a day will do precisely nada and after about 6 weeks it will do even less than nada because your muscles will be used to the training but nice try

Actually really cool with this. I'm recovering from about 70 pull-ups a couple of nights ago. I'll do a couple hundred push ups today. Just do what you can until it really hurts and your body will really benefit.

It's enough to get you started. You don't need a gym membership or even leave the house. Once you get habituated you can add more reps and maybe some other excercises. After a month or so you might think about doing a run or getting a gym membership.
Doing these first thing when you get out of bed can also change your metabolism.
If you are not yet an active person it is a good idea to start small and work your way up, injuries can hurt your motivation more than your body.

So in march I could do 5-6 press ups and have a near heart attack.

As of yesterday I can do 30 in a row and hardly even get tired or I can do 120 in a day. it is called greasing the groove and it is pretty much do a little often. So I could do 5 press ups, so I could do 3 press ups 5 times. Over time you add volume but never go to failure and try to do it every day.

Meditation is great to clear your mind and of course exercise as i have tried to preach.
Cold showers can help you wake up and turn your nervous system on full blast but like i said before, small steps with everyone involved. No porn is probably the hardest for many here. Ive dont it before, made it to about 1 month, from watching once a day. It was truly a unique experience.

You might know this, but that's actually quite common in weightlifting and powerlifting as well. Some sort of shady slav magic, but it fucking works, the Norwegian powerlifters are doing fucking fantastic with it and they're notorious for being the only guys off the juice.

10 push ups a day is infinitely better than nothing. Half of /fit/fags spend more time debating broscience than actually working out.

next 4 days you do 15.
next 5 days it's 20
Then on the next 6 you do 25

you should be able to do at least 100 pushups in a row with this method. When I was in beast mode I di 150 in a row daily.

It sets the bar, sets it very low and doesn't raise it. If you want to exercise you have to progress systematically. If you do the same thing forever, you get that good and never better.

The thing I hate about exercising is having to think about what's the proper workout/technique I need to use at the time.

Thats ok. Basically you can help yourself by doing it next to a mirror and basing your posture compared to a tutorial on youtube or an image, its very easy to give it a go.

Yeah, for those who aren't fit, just starting the day off with as many push-ups as you can manage in a row is a great thing to do. You won't get super buff but it should help your self esteem anyways since you will get better.

It's not something to be scared of. Deadlifts, squats, an overhead press or pullups are all very natural movements. You actually have to train to get them wrong, fucking infants squat with perfect form. A deadlift is just grabbing something that's on the floor and standing up. Just do it, and if it feels like you're fucking up just prop up your phone and record your form to compare later with people who know that shit.

You should be trying to do 20 a day, 10 in the morning, 5 in the afternoon, 5 at night. Very maintainable and will only take you 5-6 minutes. You want to eat food that isnt packaged. So like being able to cook meat is a good start. If you have to cook it its probably healthier than fast food. Pasta, chicken, fish, beef, bread, cereals. These are all basic and good food to just eat like normal. No need to have shakes or to eat shitty food like chips and shit.

I get motivated for a couple weeks, work out every other day, eat right, drink only water, etc., then slowly fall back into my old habits for a few weeks. Rinse and repeat. Halp.

You need to set yourself an achieveable goal. Then set sub goals to that goal. You dont need to look at them everyday. Write it once and put it away.
For example. To maintain 17% body fat. Or a desired weight you may have in mind. Then you split it up into smaller goals that are reoccuring.

This sounds honest, but honestly a to-do list helps me a ton. In a visible place, I have one in my bedroom. Point is to make you feel like shit when you can't cross it off when you're supposed to.

Skipping 5 minutes

Can do this throughout whole day. Works most to many of muscles.

Don't make excuses, you know you can do it. Everyone is genetically different from each other and we each have our own strengths and weaknesses. Saying 'but muh genetics' is a scapegoat. There will always be someone stronger than you or have advantages. That doesn't mean you don't have advantages too. Achieve your full potential, and then go beyond that.

When people say lift their own weight, do they mean in one go, or as reps? I can only lift about 2/3rd of my body weight in reps, haven't tried my own weight in a while though.

Take it from a guy who lived in a trailer with no utilities for 2 years. Cold showers will get you going better than a shot of meth. It only sucks getting in, you quickly get used to it. I kind of miss that lifestyle.

I had the same problem, I went to a gym and asked for a tutorial by one of the employees there. There are plenty of exercises to help shoulder pain (hard to explain but i'm sure you can find something on google), after I started working out I don't hurt at all anymore

Tell me more. I'm borderline underweight and I can never seem to put any weight on (not quite as bad as you were - I weigh 132lbs and I'm 2 inches shorter than you, but still). What would a normal day's meal look like for you?

How do I eat enough calories to not be a skellington when I have no appetite? Keep in mind I am a dudeweedbrofag, so even that doesn't help. I also work in construction, so it isn't lack of physical activity.
