I might understand if they were telling twitch that they will have to pay some kind of fee to host German streamers, and then twitch ends up having to shift some of the cost onto those streamers in some way, but this is simply finding new things to tax your citizens for. I really doubt streamers make enough to not be taking huge losses from this tax.
