I'm mixed English/Scottish/Irish whose male-line ancestor (assuming no-one got cucked in the last 900 or so years) was Flemish, so it would be hypocritical of me to consider people not to be nationals just because they're mixed. Most mixed people I've met, mostly Irish/Scottish/English/Welsh to some degree, have the British identity. Like them, I consider myself a British national. I can't call myself English or Scottish or such because I'm a mix, but the British identity allows for a multitude of identities to fall under one banner.

Though I do answer white Scottish on the ethnicity forms if they don't include white British, as that's where most of my ancestry comes from as far as I'm aware.
