I wore a uniform at every single school I went to. Went to a grammar school and pic related was the uniform though it was single sex when I was there.

Went to a christian school run by nuns, first 5 years you had aprons, last 3 years you had a dress code. Only time in my life I had to wear an armless sweater.

Back in maybe middle school we wrote a paper comparing uniforms vs no uniforms. obviously wasn't very advanced but it got us thinking. to me, not having to worry about day to day fashion seemed to be a big bonus

I've tried both worlds in different schools, on the first we were required to wear a uniform and everything was smooth and nice, everyone got along well, etc
