While it's admirable and kind that you gentlemen have that sentiment (thank you btw), many of my fellow Brits also have this sentiment (which I canno thank the Lord enough for). There is however a minority that would never accept a person to be British due to skin colour, and it's not for myself but for my future generations so they don't have to go through with being told they are not british. That's why I'm willing to give up my racial identity. Not that it was important to me anyway.
