SITUATION WITH NK: >If everbody lets NK continue their nuclear program they will have effective ICBMs with nuclear warheads in quite a short time. Multiple experts and even Israel had to admit that their progress was quite good over the last year. Once they reach that point they will be able to pressure the US and other countries. This is unacceptable for many countries and won't happen.
>If NK gets invaded to disable the nuclear program chances are high Seoul, one of the biggest cities in the world (10mio gooks), would be laid to ashes either by a nuke or artillery, since it's extremely close to the NK border. Same goes for other cities and bases in Japan.

Afaik it is not clear where Nk's nuclear weapons are stored exactly, so nuking the artillery to save Seoul would probably kill Seoul because NK would send a nuke...

Thing is I'm actually pretty sure if South Korea crossed the border and violated the ceasefire we might see NK soldiers defect in a major way.

Thing is, even if Kim launches the rocket, will we see anyone retaliate? Who wants to be the man who ends the world? Nukes will fly undoubtedly, but will they fly back? I doubt even China is that dumb.

What if he cooked up something with Kim and Xi and Abe? America "invades" and China "defends" North Korea. China occupies NK "just in case America tries again", keeps Kim as beloved figurehead and starts the slow process of South Korean reunification.
America withdraws from Asia and cedes regional cop duties to China, resulting in big $avings. Japan spends a bunch of money to build a military to replace America's withdrawals, solving for both deflation and regional stability.
It looks flashy, little loss of life, increased regional stability, everyone ends up looking clever.

I don't believe that Xi said they need to be denuclearized but said that something needs to be done. Of course that doesn't mean we will see any action from China. Trump needs to negotiate with NK. They need to quit the anti-NK propaganda in the west and quit the anti-America propaganda in NK. NK is a nuclear power and we need to learn to work with them. Kim Jong Un isn't crazy like the western media says he is either.

It depends if they have tanks on the high ground. Getting a bio flank is good but if they can't get to high ground they're dead. If they zone the south out with some liberators it will be even more difficult to engage. I would recommend a strong air game with enough vikings to take theirs and clean up the liberators to make a good clearing to assault the tanks on the high ground.
