I go to a liberal arts school in Oregon. International studies (Econ, politics, foreign language, history) major.

It's rough. It's even rougher knowing the past four years has been spent getting a degree that doesn't mean too much.

Some of them I suppress, others I am completely honest about. It is really dangerous to hold these beliefs in college. Like in all discussions and debates, I focus on virtue signaling and emotional arguments, and I do not discuss anything I have not researched multiple perspectives of, and I do not participate in discussions where I do not have the moral high ground. Luckily I am a socialist, an environmentalist, and extremely anti-corporatist, which are key for maintaining the moral high ground. Usually SJWs are to the right of me so I can shame them and virtue signal harder than they can.

I'm on the Arts faculty of a smaller university and I study and teach literature. You simply have to express certain beliefs or you are ostracized. We had one of our sciences profs disagree when a student said there is no difference between races besides skin colour. Like he explained that forensic scientists can literally tell your race by your skeleton and nothing beyond that.

Or we had one admin staff say on facebook that we shouldn't be upset if some people aren't vocally supporting LGBT, like people who don't attend the pride events. she was almost immediately let go for dress code violations. I do psych and I think I'm pretty stable. A lot of the problems you see involved with the school of arts and humanities are only present on the internet. Dure there's a few socialist groups advertised around the campus on the neglected newsletter boards but I get the impression they're not very popular
