For example Obama made agreements with China to embargo North Korea, but the thing is China never followed through with these agreements and continued to buy North Korean coal while Obama didn't make a peep. The Chinese narrative during the election was pretty pro trump according to my 1st gen mate who still watches their news. They were a little nervous about him, but he appeared to mark the end of the constant sneaky interventionism of Obama with at best isolationism, at worst a more brash and readable interventionism.
