Foreign journalists inside the country were told to prepare for a "big and important event" Thursday, Reuters reported.
How much longer will we put up with this, why do we not just end the North Korea menace before they become a Problem to the world.

Usually it's the Norks that would invade. Seoul would eat a lot of artillery rounds, assuming most of those artillery tubes still function which is in doubt.
The plan is defend, stall, then stop. After that push back when heavier forces from the US get to South Korea. But this war would be far different because it's likely the Chinese would get involved on OUR side. So who the fuck knows at this point. All I do know is that every known nuclear facility would eat shit from either air strikes or special forces raids. Artillery sites too.

I may be wrong, but I think it's like 10 minutes travel time from a typical Nork artillery site over the board to Seoul. So you should have some heads up, but it won't be much. By then every Allied airplane in the region would be in the air and the air space north of Seoul would be VERY busy.

I live about 2 minutes from the closest bunker. Every projection I have heard has 30+ artillery shells per second falling on Seoul until intervention or munitions are exhausted, so hopefully I can make it there. Seoul is a huge city but 30 a second is pretty insane.

You can actually go to the Chinese city of Dandong and book a river NK sightseeing boat ride along the boarder with china in somewhat rural areas where security is more lax. I dont know the situation these days but I talked to an old woman who did one 15 years ago where she tipped the boat driver a lot to land (illegally) on the NK side of the river, she was swarmed by people begging for food and money.
