Not today, but I have quit smoking, and started eating healthy, after eating healthy becomes normalized into my daily life I'm going to start hitting up the gym. I'm trying not overload myself, and taking my path to self improvement one step at a time.

I do whole body every three days plus cardio so today is my day off. Joints are utterly fucked from walking 6 miles a day + kickboxing training + fasting + big deficit since couple months, but my lower abs are starting to show and I've kept my strength while losing ~16 pounds. We are all gonna make it brehs, we are sorting ourselves out before we sort out our countries.

I got sick today though so I'm probably going to skip tomorrow and get back to it Saturday.

If you do a set of push-ups every morning and evening you can get some chest gains if you don't want to bench.

The Germans used to do 10 sets of 10 reps for legs once a week and made crazy gains, but they used drugs and doing so much volume will make you kill yourself.

Bench and OHP are the best compound exercises for upper body. And with your routine, you're not getting any chest work which bench press will take care of.

If this is a max lift they need to be ready as if he is going to drop it any second. Especially with those chains.

Why do people workout a specific set of muscles each day instead of, say, doing squats, curls, bench pressing, etc every couple of days, or on a daily basis?

I bought some lifting equipment but I'm kinda lost on the routine I need, my limbs are kinda thin and I want to make them bulkier, the rest of my body has a small bit of fat

I've been doing the Lord Phrakture Greyskull 3x a week dealio, and I've made some gains, but not as much as I'd like
Right now I'm at
145 lbs, 12-14% b.f.
5'9
Benchpress: 3x7 at 145lbs
Deadlift: 3x5 at 205lbs
Squat: 3x5 at 185lbs

I'd like to get to
165lbs, 11-12% b.f., and i don't really have a goal for 1-rep max on any of the big three lifts. I'm pretty sure my main issue is not getting enough macros/sticking to a regular sleep schedule, but any other advice would be appreciated

There is little difference between full body couple times a week and a 'bro split'. You can make gains on both of them. I recommend you do something like 3 sets of 5-10 on each compound movements and then finish off with metabolic (high rep) pump work for arms, shoulders, etc. If you follow something like starting strength I recommend doing fewer sets and adding some more upper body sets so you don't look like a T-rex. You might lose a bit of fat in the first months of training, but after that you will need to eat less or do cardio to lose weight.

Go three times a week and start with the 5x5 stronglifts program but also add some additional exercizes to it like pull ups and dips

trust me, the big thing is to leave benching out at first and focus on OHP hard time, while doing weighted dips as an accessory for chest. Able to push yourself harder while alone due to bench fear of getting choked to death
