Bannon wasn't removed entirely, he's just no longer a permanent regular member. He actually attended the last meeting before the missile strike on Syria. There's no real evidence to suggest that Bannon is in any real trouble or danger aside from the constant speculation from the MSM and their "anonymous sources".
