In his defense They did have a couple very big stocks crash by nearly 10% before rebounding (and that's after the account that had crashed the stock was frozen)... The articles I just read are saying that the Chinese government may have purchased the stock themselves in order to keep it from crashing. This isn't small news if they did (it means they are worries it would start a panic and crash everything).
