What's your opinion on capital punishment?

Judging from the prison documentaries I've seen, death row seems much comfier than general population.

Rapists and grotesque murderers are put down. Violent criminals are locked up. Non violent offenders are fined, and if they can't pay, given the choice between labor or jail time.

Exactly, until we get to a point on technology or human progress through magic science plot where we can visually delve into a persons mind and replay clear as day their actions surrounding the time of a crime then it's too great of a risk executing the wrong person. Having said what you did about complexity in crime increasing, surveillance technology that isn't shown to the public will reach greater points so that you won't be able to shit without the authorities knowing about it.

What is point of killing criminals when you can enslave them and work them to death in inhuman conditions?

Because the cost of housing, feeding, clothing, and security far out ways the the labour you'd get out of them

Corporal punishment should be brought back as punishment for minor crimes. Caught stealing a tv? 10 lashes and a fine. No need to fill prison with petty criminals.

Capital punishment for serious crimes (rape, murder, torture etc) which are proven beyond all doubt (i.e. no chance of wrongful conviction)

In Poland we have large amounts of coal but with high miner wages and stupid EU regulations, it's not very economical to mine.

When election time start, I get the name of all presidential candidates, then put them in a list.
I try to search to see if any candidate of the list is pro death penalty, if yes, he is automatically removed from the list.
Then I never look for into at those candidates removed from the list again.
The other on the list I will search to see if they are good or not and etc.. the other ones are automatically removed and wont get my vote.

I should've clarified that they'd be under constant watch and surveillance, and wouldn't have the full freedoms of a citizen. Essentially a stricter form of a lifelong parole.

it serves to bring justice to victims of crime, remove dangerous criminals from 'circulation', send a message to potential offenders, and free up prison space and other resources.
prisoners should be looked at more like a object than an individual in general, i am convinced this is the cause for a lot of crimes (most lower class and low intelligence youths see prison as an ideal place to end up, as it is more comfortable than their home lives and will give them 'gangster points' when they get out).

The justice system is too fucked for anyone to be sure that they have gotten the right culprit for the crime. There are too many biases that people have, both implicit and manifest, for people to make a right decision 100% of the time. Death is the one thing we cannot go back on. I am against it.

if anyone here lives in a shitty low income neighborhood you will know that people exist who just want to commit major crimes, go to prison and cause issues for the public for seemingly no reason (commonly blamed on drug abuse but i theorize that this personality type is caused by the frustration of being molested as a child or other abuse in early childhood).
they may not have any intentions to kill anyone, but they are filled with spite and have no regret or intentions to change their ways.
these are the ones that need to be euthanized, they will forever be a drain on the public and a potential threat to people around them.

Giving state institutions the opportunity to murder people is never a good idea. You want as many hurdles as possible between the state and killing you. Not to mention that the legal system is not flawless and mistakes may always happen.
